Ok tl'dr story: Omen was a linkshell ran by Zimph I was in that was one of the top guilds on Fenrir. It had gotten small enough that basically it was inactive, and Zimph merged us with another linkshell on the server. Shit didn't work out so well, Zimph quit the game, and I restarted Omen and recruited a bunch of people. Fast forward a little ways, Zimph comes back, but is recruited into excellence on Hades. He asks me (only me) if I would like to join him. I do so and leave. The people I left got angry I didn't give novio/gaiters/white tathlum. Novio/gaiters I got before we merged with the other linkshell. White tathlum I got afterwards, and I should have given it back...slipped my mind because it was like a 1million gil item, and I wasn't going to pay for a server transfer to give it back. Never again do I ever want to see a hypocrite to this measure in Omen again. He was a leader, repeated time and again that we need to follow rules. He can't practice what he preaches, if he does come back I don't think he should even be considered. *Can't find page 2 but this thread was all about whether or not they should recruit 3 members of a rival linkshell (maniek, cichy, and jakiss) that mpked us, shit talked about us, looked at our passwords on their forums to gain access to our forums to post our real life pictures on bG. Zimph didn't like the idea of them joining Omen, even if he wasn't a part of it anymore.*

Maniek was only annoying. Cichy was in one ouf top rival linkshells (well, a branch of it. NoraMatamune was first) and co-assisted Sinstarr in jackassing around the server doing shit just like in the screenshot. The people currently in Omen that were in our rival linkshells were the ones I personally went out of my way to steal from the other one. It's not irrelevant. I made the majority of Omen's decisions based off of my own instinct. There's no use in having a trial with Zimph vs Zimph when all the recruiting was handled by me.

That Omen and those old rivalries are no more. Its pretty much a new shell, save a handful of people.

You were Omen, you have property of Omen, it should be returned. You are no longer Omen, your items should stay with the LS. Does your current LS know you jacked Novio, Novia, Gaiters and a White Tathlum from us?

He didn't jack items, because it was under my ruling that it was allowed. When we merged with Vanquish, the rule was disbanded for any items previously obtained in Omen. However, I can't state anything on the White Tathlum... I didn't even knew he had that until I logged him on a couple weeks ago and blew a gasket.

Eh, DS's rules were that no one could sell anything they received from any form of Omen. I used to joke about selling Gaiters for finishing relic and he said I wasn't allowed to.. so... like i said, he can't follow his own rules... And his reasoning for not giving us Gaiters etc back was because no one in VQ did. Fuck that, he knew what he was doing the whole time.

Did you give your novio/gaiters back when you quit multiple times? How about when Zimph asked you specifically to give it back? The funny thing is that it seems like you don't want the items back to help the linkshell you're in, but instead that you want them back so that you can get more money to try to get a relic. I could be wrong. Maybe you do care a lot about the linkshell, but it just doesn't seem that way when you ask Zimph to get you into Excellence.

That was not me as I'm sure you know because after it was all said and done, I talked to you about it and even apologized to you for not realizing that some things said weren't true. The only things I said about you on vent was how most of the things you say are really unbelievable and how you always play the victim and try to get people to feel sorry for you. First off nice direct attack, I love how whenever you're in an argument you throwout things like this that are just filler insults. The reason you were so low on items is because me, syra, and hanayaka agreed that you were not as active as the other members on the items you wanted. I went through all our forums in private discussion, you're only seen in 10 screen shots before I left out of around 130 topics. Even if only 1/4th of those have screen shots in them your attendance is under 33%. Your limbus attendance was at 6 before I left and you spent one point to lot a homam feet that no one wanted. The reason why your attendance has kicked up recently is because now omen's system is based on DKP with virtually no bonus to seniority meaning you have to show up if you want to get anything.

I think us new members do need to give Zimph and DS respect because even tho they may be gone, there would be no Omen for us to be in today if it wasnt for them. Omen is one of the longest running shells on this server, we aren't really in the position to say much about the shells past or what the shell stands for, we should leave that up to the sack holders.

as for issues between old members and them, it sucks to see, but thats between themselves to workout.

a lot of us in omen are still just freshmen, so let us just be respectful of everyone that came before us, while we work on keeping omen what it is.

I gave up my rights to not attend events and only level DRG because you asked me to come to events. As for Limbus, it was on Wednesdays and Saturday's at times I work, check the schedule and it would explain all. I even asked you if I could attend another Limbus shell that would 100% not interfere with our scheduling and you said no. Limbus is now on Tuesdays and Fridays, days I either don't work, or I'm out already. And actually I attended events before just no one took SS's like I asked them to, I don't have to show up now it's just that things aren't scheduled when I'm at work. There are quite a few people in Omen I really miss, and I don't even get to talk to because the majority of Omen is kind of anti-social at times. Though, with all this falling out between ignorant people, its as if no one realized the 3 month statement in returning. Why were you, Humblejoe, in such a fuss when me and Darkslitter both planned on coming back? Discuss the Tathlum along your own lines, but I barely know Blizzle, and the other items don't belong in his hands. There are only 4 people in the linkshell I'd put my own on, and that's because they've spent the last 4 years with us.

The linkshell is doing really good now anyways. This argument was started under the case of Cichy and his tagteam. There are a handful of mistakes a leader can make when it comes to decision making (if it's a good leader), and the only one popping on my head for the current state of Omen is not allowing Syra and Hana to implement the current DKP system. I was very against it, and it pulled the linkshell out of its rut. Now, seeing Syra and his leaning bias towards ignorance with the thread and its current title, all of this information was separated from the actual topic which some of it still has relevance with. If recruiting Cichy, Jakiss, or Maniek, you might as well call Nighteagle and Armand back from whichever server they moved to.

48 topics had pictures in them. You were in 10 of them. Considering that it is completely random if a picture was taken or not we can use this as a sample test size. You were at 10 out of 48 that's an activity level of 25%. Sure there was stuff you were at that didn't have pictures. Sure there was stuff you were at that didn't have threads. But there are also events that don't have pictures that you weren't at and there were events you weren't at that had no threads.
