my guess is you get them from the library, but we need the library card, which means scouts needs to get to rank 4. But just my guess.

Can I throw my accuracy magian staves away(except thunder)?

Never saw much solid macc testing on magian staffs... but if they follow crafted staffs in the way they sorta do for dmg it should only be 70 macc on them... so yeah this should be a bit better if you don't need the -recast. Even then you might want to math out if the diff in macc might allow gear swap elsewhere to lower recast

Assuming capped attack, requiescat is quite a bit more powerful than ruinator no? They have the same fTP per hit, but requiescat has an additional swing. BST will also be /NIN or /DNC (I assume?) thus losing access to berserk. Before anyone says you shouldn't use berserk on NMs, BLU can keep cocoon up full-time, so it's not really an issue (BLU has triumphant roar also). If BST is really the 'best' delve DD, then BLU must be amazing.

By all mean if you can get blu to get over 1300 dps on those kind of mob, I'll be happy to bandwagon it, I'm just looking into more stuff to do/gear than just sam-mnk burn delve boss while farming alex!

After posting on ah and seeing people would rather complain about new pets than be hyped about the fact that bst might be usefull as dd/aoe buff till the next tier of wpn at least, I understand why the stigma will never change.

On things that matter, attack penalty isn't much of a factor. The buffs and debuffs being thrown around these days, and the fact that BLU has Triumphant Roar and the ability to safely use Berserk, fully accounts for it. Requiescat's main issue is its MND mod, Ruinator's at a natural advantage just due to the fact that it can "double dip" on fSTR and WSC much more readily than BLU can. Tends to help that Axes are a step above swords in terms of D "rank", too. Requiescat's extra 1.2 points of fTP helps alleviate the D discrepancy a little bit, but not entirely.

Add in the fact that BLU doesn't have Killer Instinct and it looks less likely that BLU is worth the slot. Only real saving grace is that it's much easier to land our debuffs than it is for a BST pet to do the same; we haven't got nearly the same delay between attempts and we can boost our magic accuracy further than a pet can. This comes at the cost of mostly less potent debuffs, though.

If Killer Instinct is anything like Warding Circle in Dynamis, then it would be nerfed to hell on the NMs. It's been a really long time, but I believe I was getting sub 4% bonus from it on the NMs instead of 17% bonus on normal demons.

Circles are nerfed from full damage boost to 2/3, 1/3, or 0/3 on NMs, it seems (those are the only values I've observed).

I tested inside on regular and NMs though not the megaboss. All were getting 2/3s normal values so 10%. Same applied to the af3+2 bonus and killer effects

NE corner of Morimar where that one Ergon Locus is, and it's a fight against a boring Fire Elemental.

Really hope the AF quests add actual flavor to the job, since the limit break quest was all around a disappointment compared to the ones for ToA/WoTG jobs that had a story to them.
