Anyone else having a crappy time getting mementos from behemoths? I got the pup on the day of the update and I don't have either pup or adult behemoth mementos yet... Obviously can't get pup anymore because it evolved.

Nope, had no problem at all getting both cub and behemoth. KB is growing slowly so will take more time to get that one.

Are you not doing an action on it or collecting items for fear of pissing it off? Cause if you're just relying on food, that will take a while.

Nah, doing food, interaction, and collection. And since everything but food pisses it off it will probably succumb to darkness after a while.

Iirc the happier they are, the more likely you'll get the memento.

Yes. Got it with just one feeding (lucky!) at 2.5 stars. (Was only feeding it dark clusters its whole life, but the first squirm wasn't until 2.5)

ok, can confirm as I just got memento. It went behemoth cub > beastly shank evolve to behemoth > savory shank evolve to king behemoth. Why SE made it so you can go that way and cub > savory shank evolve to KB is beyond me.

So are you telling me if we jsut fed behemoth cub regular meat he would never eventually evolve by himself to adult behemoth? I HAVE to feed it a beastly shank to squirm him?

Behemoths are shady as fuck with KIs, I'll probably try to get them to beam with contentment because I've been so unlucky so I'll stop harvesting/interacting with them. Maybe SE wants us to piss them off. I've made 2 cubs succumb to darkness already and still haven't gotten a KI, one just evolved to adult and the other is at 3 full stars feeding them nothing but hare meat. I've had my KB for awhile too and it's still at 1 full star. I guess behemoths really like rotten meat, Nynja? lol

You'd be surprised... I'm actually trying to make it succumb and it's mood would go up no matter how bad I treated it as long as it got it's meat. Now finally after like a weak of no food and slapping it and taking stuff from it it's pretty depressed but no succumb yet

no, it will evolve into behemoth with just feeding other meats. not sure if it will naturally evolve into KB though.

It will not naturally evolve into a King Behemoth.
Behemoth is the "normal" adult form.
All babies will eventually pop into their normal adult forms.
Only alternate and "T3" stages demand a specific food.
It's just that some babies have forced evolution food tied to them. (Ala Beastly Shank)

OK thanks guys. cause all i kept seein was people feeding shanks to evolve to adult behemoth, and im like thinking wouldnt it evolve to behemoth naturally (albiet slower)? So just wanted to be sure. I rather take the slow route than waste shanks on a normal evolution.

Skipping? Nothing has skipped. Baby=>King is just an illogical leap that actually makes perfect sense when using SE's insane troll logic.
Unless someone somehow got Behemoth to become King Behemoth (which I don't recall reading anywhere, and vaguely remember that Savory doen't make Behemoth squirm... but... that could have been a mistake back then. It WAS rather early.)

But we HAVE had forced adult evolutions, even quite recent too. The Dhalmel line specifically.
