Still no news/hints about Elasmoth/Skormoth, I get?
Has anybody tried feeding adult behemoth/KB with one of the other newly added "accepted food" at 3+ stars to see if it squirms?

Do 3.0 KBs even exist yet? I'd imagine the oldest are still 2.5 at the most.

Only thing I recall related, which I've also done myself, is that Behemoth doesn't squirm for Gabbrath meat.
Pretty sure someone tested it with the cub too and got a negative.

My king just got to 2,5 stars today , i have given a savory shank on 2 stars it did nothing (yay for wasted shank) , today i gave him an rotten meat did nothing as well, tomorrow i will try either gabranth meat or another shank ( if i can get one)

Which... Today something weird happened.
So I have 2 behemoth pets, one King and the other normal...
I kept track of them via names and stars...
But...
Now both are 0.5 stars.
Which means that Behemoth, given time, will become a King Behemoth.
Or it's one of the other two... But pretty sure they're red and black behemoth variants.
Both of mine are normal purple... So I think it's just KB.
Will find out when it gets bigger.
(This almost implies that Behemoth is more a baby2 form, rather than a full adult form.)

At this point would it be so out of place to consider Behemoth a non-branching evolution mob?
Like... Baby Behe > Adult Behe > KB > Elasmoth > Skormoth?
Or maybe Elasmoth and Skormoth same tier branching from KB?

Hydra Meat and Warthog Meat. I think rotten meat has always been useable.

Hydra and Gabbrath seem the most likely because of the HNM theme plus Nerve Gas = curse (elasmoth cheer) and amnesia (skormoth cheer) = fire based + skormoths and gabbraths both debuted in Adoulin (so similar logic to clots evolving from Bibiki slugs).

I'd wager on the side of alternate from KB.
But it could be one long chain. (Gross)

Though didn't skormoths first appear in Meebles?
I know Elasmoths from VW... But I think there was a red variant (skormoths) somewhere before Escha.

It's really bizarre that Behemoth, with time (I was just feeding him rotten meat) will pop into KB.
That really does make it seem like Behemoth is just an intermediary form, eg: a teen/baby2.
Since no other adult stage will do that.
They all will just sit at 3F forever.

Also: Wyrms and Cactaur. Wonder if they'll have a shop to themselves (so tiny) or if R7 will be put in the 5+6 shop.

Hadhayosh in Abyssea - La Theine was the first Elasmoth, while Mistmaw Xelhua from Alluvion Cirdas was the first Skormoth.

The only useful thing they could have cactuars unlock in the shop is cactuar roots and that would really only be for alchemy skill ups.

And I can confirm, like someone else reported, that Adult Behe naturally evolves into KB, just happened to me as well.
So basically Beastly Shank and Savory Shank are not necessary? I guess?

my KB is 3 stars and beaming, fed him dragon meat for the past 5 days without knowing (was already 3F stars) last 2 days it was beaming and still fed him dragon meat, no change, did I miss my chance because it wasn't @2.5?

That's strange, you should still see it squirm.
The fact it squirms doesn't guarantee an evolution, but the squirm item used at the right minimum amount of stars should generate a squirm 100%. So I'm puzzled as to why you didn't get any single squirm.
Are you sure it's not a normal behemoth? (it's the same exact model as KB)

No squirm from KB at 2.5 stars with hydra meat. Has someone tried warthog meat yet? If so, I'll just go on to elsamoth.
