Seriously. I think what most people end up doing is just spamming the enter key whenever they turn in task reports, so of course the first and second options are going to get picked before the one at the bottom of the list.

It's a shame that people in general don't care enough to pay attention to that kind of stuff.

That's pretty awesome dasva, did you plant on Earthday (or inspect on earthsday), or opposite day (wind or lightning).

Im assuming day you harvested doesn't matter considering it was already an earth elemental.

Wasn't really paying attention. Got it with revival root too and another one with the dryad today. Also managed a stone II off another.

My Great root made a nice big tree that gave me just a light crystal though part of that might be not noticing my little mithra love slave had left

Just planted a Dryad Root on Darksday. It's just a sparkle on the ground (like the Flotsam) right now, but we'll see if it turns into a Dark or Light Elemental later.

Edit: Still looks like an Earth Crystal. Another ~14 hours until I can harvest.

Edit 2: Harvested on Darksday. Got... two Ice Crystals and a Lacquer Tree Logs. Whatever.

Edit 3: Harvested a second time and got a Fairie Apple. I think my furrow is broken.

Was able to plant a Cernunnos bulb that drops for the WoG mission from saplings in past Jugner. Planted on lightsday, takes 20 hours and 2 harvests. Also planted a Leshonki bulb on lightsday and fertilized it with derfland humus. Takes 18 hours and 2 harvests. They both display a graphic of a sapling mob in the furrow dirt. Have the mithra and qiqirn both tending furrows so we shall see what happens.

K so Cernunnos bulb became a treant with green leaves when it matured, Leshonki bulb became a treant with red leaves. Harvested on darksday, Cernunnos just gave mugwort and a malboro vine. Leshonki's bulb gave snapping mole, moko grass, insect wing, olive oil, silver leaf, and a woozyshroom.

Great root turned into a full sized tree with pink/whiteish leaves. Only produced little worm and herb seeds.

Does anybody understand exactly what the NPC helpers do? I have been using mine for a week but I'm still not sure. I would suppose they add new/different stuff you can get from nodes, but the list of stuff is already so huge and so irrelevant it's really difficult to tell.

The only one I can list as fact is the Mithra. Having her set to gather seeds is very nice for Tree Saplings (or perhaps these new yellow seeds for Monstrosity souls too). I have the Qiqirn (Grow me something good) on the ferrows too since I doubt he'd help get any worthwhile fish, and prior to setting him on it, I never once got angel/deathstones (100k as short as 2 days ago, quickly dropping to 40-50k now though). Since adding him to it, I've gotten at least 1 every harvest, if not 2/2 each harvest.

The Meeble I can't really say. I've got him on the vein (Make it easier to mine or whatever, not the repair tools option) since the grove has been all but useless even with fertilizer, but other then occasional Adaman Ores (plumited to 3k) Orichalcum Ores (10k) and Aht Urghan Brass (3-10k) I haven't seen much. He'd be the one I'd cut if I had to choose one to vote off the island.

Not sure sadly Was about 50 hours after I had planted them at 16:00 lightningday when I harvested if you want to do the math to figure out around the day that would be >.>

Does the meeble may influence the number of "free mining" you get?

The tools one might do that. The make it easier rather noticeably ups how much you get from each mine/harvest

Redolent root turns into a tiny Morbol appropriately enough. Only gave me a Yagudo Cherry and some herb seeds.
Can get the root back if Mithra is set to look for seeds.
Odious root cannot be planted so don't waste your time farming like ... someone... did. >.>

Yes, Alexandrite. Only one and it's the only one I've gotten in several harvests.
