Mog Gardens Information

I made a joke with some friends before adoulin came out that maybe you'd be able to mine HMPs in mog gardens, but if you can get alexandrite there maybe it's not that far-fetched lol.

So I planted golden seed pouch with garden worm and get lots back and gather seeds... got 3 seeds pouches and 3 spirits back and can be harvested 3 more times. This stage wont be as bad as I thought

Another Title to add to the list, "Mythril Mattock". Also unlocked the 400 gil option on the brd Title Npc in west.

Garka what did you do to obtain it? Just after mining your rock to 0? Over a period of how many GPS stars?

I haven't missed a day since release, this one did come from the rock, this seems to be the 3rd tier of titles tho as before it was copper/silver ranks, so I'm assuming in the coming days ill get the titles from the other areas in the garden as well. Too bad no one voted for the right thing this past week, I was curious to see how many KI's I was gonna get.

Last set of titles, he got them a day before me, so I should get them after the reset today or tomorrow. I haven't had any extra swings from the meeble on either, but if it's swing count, I'm at 194. I should hit 200 today, which is likely the title. I'll check as I go today just to make sure.

As for KIs, after 5 days (6 for nets) everything went up to rank 3, so I would be surprised if we didn't go straight to rank 5 after 47 days, assuming it's 2 weeks to get it since it's still not the top option.

I've actually gotten different titles on different characters even though they've all done the same thing in the gardens each day

Got my 36th star, but no title today, and didn't miss the silver mattock / grove one. I did get Agrarian initiate (furrows) some time ago and I didn't notice.

What are the real benefits from this Farmville knockoff? I'm at max rank on everything with all 3 Assistants present. I've tried all possible seeds, stems, cuttings, etc on Furrows. The only real "money-maker" so far, has been Flotsam from which I got Scroll of Phalanx, a bunch of Sky trigs, Fire Bomblet NM pop item and Peiste Pellets pop item.

It's free stuff to npc. If I was interested in actually ahing probably be a good 50k or so if I turned the ores into ingots. Some of the unique soa stuff comes from there too and stuff for play as a monster... basically it's free gil to go in and check for a couple of minutes

I got the Thicket Praetor and Mythril Mattock titles today. The pond and coastal net titles seem to be much slower due to the fact that you can only use them once per day instead of 6 or more times.

Using the golden seed pouch on the furrows and making both the mithra and the qiqirn harvest a lot of crops caused me to receive two pachy spirits on both furrows and nothing else.

Use some garden worms. Only 300 balyd. I get 3-4 each time. Even get 3 sometimes while having mithra gather seeds

So, if I wanted to get enough spirits for Monstrosity to unlock everything without spending any bayld, how many Golden Seed Pouches, Chestnut Tree Saps, and Monarch Beetle Salivas should I buy from the Login campaign?

5-7 saps and salivas, 1 pouch. Set the meeble to make excavating / harvesting easier for more chances at spirits per harvest. They last 4 attempts each, so you can only use 1 or 2 per day. Each harvest yeilds 0-2 spirits. Antlion spirits gave me more 0s and 2s than beetle, but the sample size is too small to draw any conclusions about that other than luck. I would buy saps and salivas as you need them since there's still a long time left in the campaign.

For the golden seed pouch you only need to buy one. You can set the mithra to harvest seeds, and she'll get you 2-3 more seed pouches and 1-2 spirits. They last for 4 harvests each, and with both the mithra and qiqirn giving lots of crops, you should get 1-3 spirits per harvest. Plant more seed pouches as needed. You shouldn't need to harvest seeds a second time, but you can if your spirit harvests are terribly unlucky.

It took me 130 points total to get 25 of each spirit.

I actually had slighlty better luck with antlion. But it's not huge. Like I'm at 27 ant and 24 beetle doing it the same amount. I'd recommend a fertlizer for the furrow. I use little worm because I have a mule with 200k baldy and it's 300 each lol. But yeah always have the qiqirn harvest alot and with mithra on seeds I get 2-3 seeds and 2-3 spirits per harvest and with her on gather alot its 3-4 spirits so far.

FFXIclopedia just added rows for different crystal fertilizers. Did we already know you could fertilize furrow plants with crystals?
