As far as that whole position thing on vein/grove that seems interesting and while I'm normally skepetical I want to say it only seems like their is a pattern like that. I'll have to pay more attention. I wonder if the items you use on the grove/vein basically just overwrite location so you focus on that stuff or something. Idk not like I see any of those items other than the free grove cuttings being worth the baldy

I'm betting auserum ups the chances that the "precious metals" points on the vein have a higher chance to pop than the other ones, and that similar boosters do much the same for groves.

There are several points for each harvesting location. If you load up Mappy/APRadar or Allseeingeye you can see them all.

Oddly enough despite the huge influx darksteel and O ingots still sell quite nicely. I mean it's not 100k each anymore but I certainly didn't expect to still see them high to make me actually want to make them instead of npcing

Edit: Also speaking of odd trolls I could swear I used to get regular gold ore and I haven't since I hit rank 5. But now I get silver when I didn't before <.<

Can't speak for orichalcum but darksteel picks will always keep ds ingots from dropping too low. 3k/each ds ore + 20k/stack elm lumber is already like 65k profit to NPCs for 12 picks, minus the cost of crystals.

Interesting... might try that though ingots selling quick at 90k a stack over here makes me just want to sell ingots lol

Yeah, I'd keep AHing at 90 (the extra labor, price of lumber, and break risk might not be worth the difference), but a more "realistic" 65 or 70? Picks for days.

This is, of course, why ds stacks won't drop to 65-70.

Ok I checked Mineral Vein and suspect the following: On Mineral Vein #3 there are two mining points, top and bottom. Top yields precious metal, bottom yields smithing metals. Bonecraft materials and Crystals can come from either.

This is the results from one day. Post yours and see if it corroborates.
Top: Orichalcum Ore/Beetle Jaw/Antlion Jaw/Ice Crystal/Bugard Tusk/Fish Bones/H.Q Scorpion Shell/Ice Crystal
Bottom: Adaman Ore x3/Darksteel Nugget/H.Q Crab Shell/Antlion Jaw/Wind Crystal

Of course, at it's heart DS ore is always worth at least 8K/2 ores without effort, thanks to the Bastok repeatable quest. Easy way to get max fame in Bastok, since DS ore is usually below 4K each unless someone's savvy enough to clear the AH at a profit + get Trial By Earth in a hurry for Titan.

Could be coincidence but recently started doing these and so far I've gotten around 6 harvest each on 3 characters but this is the first time I forgot to use fertlizer. Also overall got more saplings back then the times I used fertilizer

I've yet to get Tree saplings from cuttings in Mog gardens, is it just rare or do you have to grow them the old fashioned way?

He has the mithra set to find seeds, which gives you at least 1 seed back from all harvests

Getting saplings back from cuttings is rare but yeah getting saplings back from saplings is easy peasy

I've never used fertilizers aside from the free ones I got from mog.
Where can I find some info? Or does anybody mind sharing where to get them etc?

I bought my saplings off the ah. Much easier and faster than hoping cuttings pan out. Define some info. Way back a bit in this thread we compiled most of a list of what can be used and of course there are the fertlizers from npc at inventors

Anyone have a title past Calamareeler(sp?) or Swamp Savant for ocean/pond? I received Gold Mattock and Forest Praetor over a week ago.

Gold/Forest are 4/5 for titles in their area but Calam/Swamp are 2/5 for their areas. I use everything every day. I started using the helpers for both waters and today I started using bayld items also. Both helpers and items give 16 items. I guess I'll keep doing that and see what happens.
