Completing the new Mog Garden quest does give you the Straw Hat and the title "Wibbly Wobbly Woozy Warrior".

Out of curiousity for those who have gotten the quest, did you purchase the overalls?

I did, but they are on a mule. Quest was immediately started once my furrows hit Rank 7. Everything else prior was Rank 7 also besides that.

I mined up a Voay Staff -1 in the garden today from max level vein, #4. Was an odd sort of surprise.

I got 2 voay staves -1 from a rank 6 vein today.

I've also seen staves as well as -1 swords and velkk masks. Maybe velkk necklace too but I can't remember. Seen akaso from grove #4. All of these with rank 7 for me.

Same. Other uniques I've seen from Vein 4 are Vanadium Ore and Titanium Ore. Haven't seen the AA ore mentioned before, though that could just be retarded rare. Got rank 7 Furrows and can verify it just takes having all at rank 7 to get the quest.

Anyone excited for the apparent monster breeding to finally hit MG? They didn't really give any details, but "enjoy showering beasties with tender loving care and receiving rewards for your efforts" sounds like what it may be, combined with the baby sheep/ququirn.

I think i have npcd alot of vanadium ores in the past. maybe titanium but i am way less sure about that. There is also some kind of mog gardening campaign comin up as well.

Getting reforged mats is pretty sweet. Will drive the prices down even further if theyre even semi rare. Would be neat to get Naakual mats from flotsam or something too

Like... I want to a farm of xzomits and puks... cause baby fairy dragons and squiddles are adorable. They don't even have to be chibified like the baby sheep and baby Qiqirn in the spoiler...
Basically I want an actual "petting zoo"... even if just to look at... and not just a "here's a targetable ??? that gives you clothcraft stuff"...

I'm betting it'll probably just be a "clothcraft vein" though..............................

Nah, back when mog gardens was first announced there was some sort of monster raising aspect that was going to be added to it. All we know for sure is you can raise sheep, to what end I don't know. And that kid qiqirn has something to do with it.
