You can buy the calico and stone and get the Drill Calamary from the log in campaign for 100? points. You could also go the Zaldon route for the Calamary.

Random question, has anyone tried planting a Yggdreant Root?
Not sure if this has been posted already, but I got a HP-bayld from rank 7 pond today. Not sure if it can only come from pond or just random chance from anything in mog gardens. Was using regular baitball cause I bought some by mistake.
I bought all the rank 6 and 7 key items at the same time after the last update (oops).
its not quite a savory shank, but got a 100 byne in my floatsam.
Just got Maliyakaleya Coral from my coastal fishing net.
Got Susoroon looking after it, nothing else on it.
Also had 2 hundred pieces the last few days on mules, which is always nice.
Finally got my Calico Comet from the pond. Two of them, in fact! No bait this time, just had the mithra set on "Catch Something." Hope this helps!
Is there a rough estimation of necessary days/items for levelups?
I've been doing Mog Garden every day since patch, got rank 6 everywhere a few days after patch, and Furrows is still rank 5 despite multiple harvests of Revival Tree Roots every day (at least 4 each day) with Mithra and Qiqrin helping on Quantity/Seeds.
I remember to get Rank4>5 took me over a month but back then I wasn't using Revival Tree Roots and helpers until the last week or something
You know when you sell an item to a npc or the garden moogle. you click the item name and a price shows up and you click again to sell? Well since update occasionally it will stop giving me a price for things. until i back out. Sometimes i think its after my list moves when i sold something and my equipped linkpearl gets selected and i click. But i cant replicate it this way so i am unsure what is happening. So anyone else had this issue?
This has been happening for all NPCs, not just Moogle.
Since last patch.
After you sold more than X items together, what you described happens.
To "solve" it you need to close the shop menu completely, then target NPC and open it again and it will work.
Also not sure if you knew it but selling stuff to the moogle = selling to an NPC in a zone with lowest possible fame.
And Alliance Shirt +1 doesn't work on Moogle.
Ok good i thought i was takin crazy pills or something!
Get this anytime I vendor a lot of things, like 30+ different items. I assumed it was just some mass-vendor selling countermeasure from XI's early years. I've been experiencing it since the update before last, when Mog Wardrobe was added in. Pretty sure it's based on the number of items vendored, cause I never had space for more than maybe 15 things max prior to Wardrobe, and after, I had 50+ spaces that I was vendoring.
Yeah never seen it before Wardrobe myself, but I don't recall selling so many items often before that...
I've noticed that it's has been happening for quite some time already, while just my observation it only happens when you highlight an item (you click on an item to put its price up) while your inventory list is getting smaller(you just sold an item). While its not a big deal, you can avoid it by highlighting all the items you are going to sell first, then sell them. Also I've noticed that it only happens as you get closer to the bottom of your list.
I just got Rank 7 on the furrow. I've had Rank 7 on the others for a while. For reference, my Furrow was Rank 5 (took a while to get Rank 6) when they added the 2 ranks. I used Revival roots. Lots and lots of Revival roots. I would harvest them at any chance I had. I left the game on while I slept, in case I woke up briefly, then I would harvest and plant again. I had the Mithra set to seeds whenever I was low, so I never ran out. I don't know if it was pointed out already, but it seems to me that it's possible to upgrade the furrow not just by getting the higher title, but you also have to replace it. I got Virtuoso (I don't know if that's the highest, but it's the same category as the other 2 titles I have for mining and trees), and I couldn't upgrade. I cleared Dynamis Windurst, and got the new title of Interloper, and was able to get Rank 7. I also did the Straw Hat quest, since I had the items for a while.
I've noticed the npc selling thing since I started using the mog garden a while ago. I eventually realized what is mentioned above by Kurstone, that you can click the items you want to sell to see their price, and when all of them have the price up, you can sell them without dealing with exiting and re-entering the npc vendor window. The only exception is that if you sell a bunch of stuff, and realize you forgot to see the price of an item after selling a bunch of the items, there's a chance you won't be able to see the price, and will have to exit and re-enter same as before. Clicking on each item once to see the price is also a great way to avoid accidentally selling something you didn't intend to (assuming you didn't already misclick an item to see the price). You can sell the items with the price up, and when you click on something you didn't intend to sell, clicking once would show the price, which (in my case) raises a flag and makes me double-check the item I'm about to sell.
So since I got all my mules mog garden access for the cool flotsam events I had a bunch of the starting items laying around (stone serum grove worm etc) and would use them all and it seems to increase odds of getting the reforged mats a bit. Like so far I haven't gotten any without it but each time I use a set of those items at least one of them ends up giving me something
See I usually try to empty out my bag before i go at it in mog gardens. So i would have nearly 80 slots filled (b4 things stacked) of things to sell and never had this issue til this last update. But alot of times i tend to go thru the list clicking them all once to get prices shown then going back upward to sell them.
But since update alot of times i been doin like a section say vein and grove then selling that stuff and then furrows. then fish so i been doin it in sections. or i will go thru part, click to show prices for jsut part of the bag, go up sell them and then go to next section. I think it usually happens when i sell downward thru the list too. hmm...
Hmmm mog garden event has only given me damn mannequin pieces. which is sad cause i have a full set already from their first appearance in the login deal. So i decided to finally do that quest to get the mannequin, since my main character has all that done and has yet to get any manny pieces. So i got it and i am still gettin manny pieces. and then i got one on my main guy. So frustrating cause I keep hearing bout other people gettin some nice items like 100s and such.
is there an easy way to get a "creel of moat carp"?
