Are you suggesting that using specific combinations of items in a specific order (like Distilled Water > Red Moko Grass) can produce evolving at a faster rate?
Could be, but honestly atm I'm leaning for the "shit is random" theory orders have said.
Certain items (in this case, Red Moko Grass) increase che chances a certain thing can evolve in a certain direction, but when that will happen exactely is random and dependant on a certain %.
So you're saying that you started a pet from scratch, fed it once, then have it evolve the next day? Or do you mean you fed it a Red moko on the first day, then did what Sechs did (water > red moko) and have it evolve? I find it hard to believe that a fresh pet can evolve with just one feeding, especially when the offcial website says the pets require a certain maturity for it to evolve.
Does anyone know a website that has a complete list of all the items we can feed to pets?
I believe if you look thru this you can find the initial list they released and then the ones they add in various updates but not sure if anyone complied the whole thing
For me with my bunny...
day 1 fed it red moko no squirm probably because it's new and I had already interacted with the pet I sent to the farm.
day 2 fed red moko squirmed
day 3 came in and I don't think I got the baby rabbit KI.
I believe that it has a chance to evolve after any squirm. As far as the later that day comment it's zoning that does it.
Ahh okay... thanks for clearing that up. I went through the last 30ish pages and someone claimed to have their pet evolve, never getting the squirmish message, but I'm inclined to think it was due to having their pet set on personal growth (the website says the pets will eventually evolve even if you don't feed them, with the cost of having them susceptible to darkness mood). As for the possible foods, I wasn't able to find anything that's not already listed on the wiki page but the list on wikia is not complete and the official forum's list is even more out of date. Other than Giant Sheep meat, anyone know any other food you can feed that's not on the list?
I forget if it was one or two months after Rearings introduction, but the squirming message was added at that point. We were just kind of blindly feeding shit to mobs for awhile, basing it off of their reaction. Kinda funny considering some evolve from things that they don't even like, we'd of been lost for awhile without the squirming bit.
Just got Eft KI, it lets you buy Eft skin from the moogle. Fed it strictly lesser chigoes as mentioned before. Now we just need to figure out what the Ram's KI let's us buy, I'm having lamb chops tomorrow if my sheep doesn't turn into a ram >(
Gear doesn't give you a change in your stat under craft skills either. It will be very difficult to test this probably. Why? since it's 1% and SE probably didn't let it round up. that means we'd need to have level 100 skill and a synth that is level cap of 116. We could try and test it by massive amounts of synthing to get a statistical analysis on HQ rates if someone is willing to do a few 1,000 synths.
HQ testing wouldn't take nearly 1000s of synths just find something that you'd be barely T0 on and 100 or so should be more than sufficient to show the difference between 1% and whatever T1 is
Or you could quit being a moron and posting on multiple sites about this. SE commented on the "cheers that raise the probability of increasing combat skill ups." It's not any stretch of the imagination that all of these cheers are literally +1% gain rate to it's applicable skill. Unless you honestly believe they'd add something that at best, you get 1 whole skill level from.
They are properly labeled in the Japanese.

・木工スキル上昇率アップ+1%
・フェイス:物理防御力アップ+5%
It's just a localization error.
They also in the very same update notes that they released the cheers said it was actually skill gain rate. Not really sure why this is even still a question
Ah... i was kinda hoping for a +1 skill and that the % was the part that was off, at least for crafting.
Oh well, mog gardens, gota catch em all just like them trusts
Has anyone noticed more frequent good flotsam stuff from this campaign than previous ones? Normally between my 11 character I check so far I normally get 0-2 100 peices per campaign but so far this time I've gotten 5
I'm getting mostly mannequin/skirmish parts, mola molas, or some other stupid fish >(. I got a few singles, and 1 one hundred bill this time, though. Last time I got a Jadeshell and Silverpiece, I think... the quality of my flotsam has dipped lol
ah, i see that now. missed that in the "known issues" part of their notes. that'll teach me to skim over them.
I don't know of anyone that knows everything about everything other than God. You could have just as easily have posted something similar to Dasva. Not knowing something doesn't make someone a moron, jerk.
Ram KI lets you buy Ram skin. Also, my eft turned into a tarichuk with 1 lesser chigoe, got the squirm message and the next day it changed. Before that I had fed it mostly rabbit meat, and I think 1 giant sheep meat. You said you got the regular eft KI so it's not a baby still, seems weird that mine evolved but yours did not. Maybe you have to feed more than one type of food for any monster to evolve?
