Yeah just checked again... with just baby it's seashell and sardine. Mule with none got sardine

Btw limbisca or whatever now considers yelling only not worthless so either straight up downgrade or something else is tops. Still not worthless for 3 eyed. Might go back to meat since that was best response
Limascabras strongly resonate with Getting Angry. Also, I was able to get mine to evolve today with 2 full stars of growth, trading it a three-eyed fish, then zoning out and back in.
My baby Uragnite evolved into a Medium Limascabra.
Food fed: 1 or 2 Giant Sheep Meat, 2 or 3 Yell Loudly, 1 Three-eyed fish (which made it squirm)
Same diet for my other Uragnite except the Fish. Atm at 2 stars and still baby.
Collected Item from Limascabra and gave me Paralisys Dust.
Still no Memento ; ;
Should I be collecting items when trying to evolve monsters/unlock mementos?
IIRC they changed it so their behavior can't go down and they won't go all sith lord on you during the first two days. Though I've never managed to get a memento that quickly, so it's prolly moot unless you really need that hare meat or whatever trash you harvest.
Has anyone been able to evolve a monster that Chacharoon wasn't focusing on? My Urganite evolved, but the Colibri hasn't. Urganite evolved at 2 stars, Colibri is at 2.5 now and still nothing. I switched them though, so hopefully it'll evolve tomorrow, don't want it to turn into an adult.
The "Focus" is only to display which monster you see/can interact with in the regular garden as far as I can tell. Evolving, as usual, is totally random.
Hmmm I don't remember that change. Either way when mine did go crazy it was even after those days. So I spend a couple of days buttering it up then go in and steal it's items riding the bit of the extra good will I'd developed.
As far as focus goes I'd have to agree with Hitou. At most I'd say it might lower the effects of parenting style a little but seeing as you can still set them I'd wager they still have some effect and as such can still be kept happy/evolve. Just remember to have that particular one set to growth
I am pretty sure my mule has gotten mementos within 2 days. For some reason he is a total prick cause he gets mementos right away while my main has to go 3 weeks with nothing. He is lucky like that in alot of things. I hate him so much lol.
Anyone else notice monsters zooming around in the second section of the gardens after tonight's update? I don't remember monsters moving that often or that quickly. I kind of had to lock on to them and follow or I'd have a hard time trading food before they moved out of range...
Yeah it's kind of crazy. Even had some zoom so fast that I'd initiate talking to them and by the time the dialogue box popped up they were a good 10-15' away. And I had done them on a mule right before (like literally just a few minutes before) the update and it wasn't doing that
Is the wrong chat message that you guys reported (noticed it myself) a known issue for SE?
Like Pet2 giving messages using Pet1's name.
There was no such change. And when you set a monster to "enjoy the moment" they don't grow.
But I've evolved two things in the unfocused slot so far, so it's more than possible. Check your parenting style.
I've found that it's nigh impossible to get a monster to succumb to darkness unless you don't feed it, take it's stuff, and do bad interactions with it.
Even with always taking items from it every day, if one does at least a resonating action towards it, then it will grow in happiness.
Even moreso if you feed it.
I find this is normally true but 1 pet I got was just really pissy. Went all dark side on me twice within the first week or 2 of having it and that was with feeding it and doing resonating action and after the first time stop taking stuff. I swear they just gave me grumpy cat
Confirming Mulsum for Toucolibri:
Yelling strongly resonates.
Were you feeding it stuff it ate? Or was it stuff that "stares off into the distance" cause I've found that when you get the states message with food that there is either a negative impact on mood or a neutral one.
Also: if you only feed it that stuff it will never grow out of a baby stage.
(Found that out when I was raising a normal cockatrice... Gave it crap from the furrows or grove that was basically worthless and a 1 of since I wasn't going for a special evolution I figured it wouldn't matter at all what I gave it... And it doesn't... Except the damn thing never grew up... It was 3 full stars, parenting set to personal growth, and the damn thing wouldn't pop. So I gave it a random fish. Left. Came back, and finally had an adult. So you need to feed it something that it "eats" at least once after it is 2+ full stars.)
Is there a minimum amount of stars before you can possibly get a memento from a creature?
Also, despite what BGwiki says, you can get mementos before completing Chacharoon's Cheer. It never appeared in my log, but I have a lamb memento in my key items.
Strongly resonating action AND food everyday. Grumpy mob was just grumpy
Star system is kind of new and I don't think people have been paying too much attention... but it's for growth so I doubt it has to do with memento. I think I've gotten my last memento with just 1 unfilled star
