My gf used to allways comment about it being in there and that it came and went. I think it's there when they have the mpg garden events that double up stars and turn the tiny crabable into the big crab. We accidentally found what it was when the goblin box popped out one of those mock hares and she now has it in her mule's moghouse.

I started noticing the table decor prolly a year or so ago.

Ok so I have been trying for a red leaved treant. following the old wiki guide on mog rearing. Feeding potions makes it turn to red leaves. It squirms. Ive traded like 10-15 of them to two saplings each only to have them really reluctantly change (having full stars each time) to a green leaf. WTF am I doin wrong? Do I need to be feeding it fiend blood? I happen to have a bunch from farming argus the other day. Cause thats the only thing i can think of and what Im gonna be doin next.

It's potions. I had the same issue and finally got it to change on the 3rd sapling. You pretty much just have to spam it till it changes, which of course is random.

I havent had anything be random like that before. So what does fiend blood do. old wiki says it makes it squirm. To me it would make sense that a blood would make its leaves turn red, but this is SE we talking about and makin sense isnt always in their mind when makin this stuff. Maybe I will start 2 fresh saplings. name one potion and the other fiend blood. and trade them those based on their names and see what happens.

Fiend's blood squirms treant into the regular (green) adult form, just potentially saves you however many days it might take to evolve naturally.

Yeah I never noticed that either, was it anything interesting before the clock?

During the armor event it was the SAM helmet from the armors, and before that it was that lamp that changed colors constantly for the event before that. It's one of those nice little touches.

Can a pet evolve if you don't feed it a "squirm" inducing food?
My baby slimes have been 3 stars for a few days with Denitzaasi and Slap and do not show any sign of evolving into anything.

Yes most regular evolutions involve non squirming... but since the update awhile back it takes forever

Monsters tend to get stuck at 3 full stars for 3+ days even when you feed them squirming foods. I kinda hate the randomness of evolving them with food.

I'm experiencing something different/weird/new (to me) - I've got a pet that's been squirming uncontrollably now 4 days in a row and not upgrading. It's at 2.5 stars and I keep double-checking to make sure it's set on personal growth. Anyone else seen this behavior? Thoughts/ideas?

As always, squirming only has a chance of making your pet evolve. Just keep at it.

I think that's based on their personal growth patterns, like when I was raising either an eft or a raptor (can't recall which) they only were 3f for a day (maybe two) before popping, while crab was sitting at 3f for almost a whole week...
I can often see SE's design logic for most of their stuff...
But monster growth rates?
Nope.
(An adult Uragnite of mine was stuck at 1f for about 4 days or so before it grew anymore!!)
