Think I'm missing something then. Mobs like adamantoise have two distinct paths of evolution. In this case ferromantoise and big adamantoise.
Given how date is the squirm food for the former, I thought there oughta be another for the latter as well?

No, you just feed them food they like and give them positive interactions, and they'll eventually evolve naturally into the non-squirm path.

It should have 4 evolution foods.

Assuming Date is the evolution food for Ferromantoise, there's still the evolution foods for:

Ferramantoise > Great Ferramantoise
Adamantoise > Great Adamantoise
Adamantoise > White Adamantoise

But the only evolution food needed for a baby adamantoise is the date for ferramantoise.

One of Great Adamantoise and White Adamantoise might not have a squirm food.

Very possible but it would be the first stage 3 creature to not have an evolution food.

It's also the first stage 3 with two paths, so it's a new situation; we'll have to see.

This is just a guess but Adamantoise > Great Adamantoise will probably be Blue Pondweed, and Adamantoise > White Adamantoise will be Red Pondweed. Both at 3 stars since it's a 2nd tier evolution. I can't really guess what Ferromantoise > Great Ferromantoise will be though.

Yeah will eventually just only 1 of them evolved so I just tried what the last one was

Unsurprisingly, Abyssobugard's Cheer (+2% Attack/Ranged Attack) stacks additively with other percentage based attack bonuses.

Finally got the Hecteye myself today. Which interactions/food to use now? Well, not like it should matter to receive the KI honestly... even bad food could probably give a chance to receive the KI.
