when you use a an item on the node it will do more than just 1 or 2. it always does max uses when i use any of the items that boost nodes. and the moogle sells rockoil and something else which will harvest all of them until your inventory is full or it runs out and its good for like 20 harvests or something.

Is Kunwu ore obtainable anywhere in Mog Garden from veins/pets? I need a ton and there just does not seem to be any reliable way to get it these days.

The problem is spending 5k to speed up the process a tiny bit is kind of counter productive... plus it precludes using something to actually get better/more stuff out of it which while they seem to give more harvests they don't max out like rock oil

Rockoil lasts for 28 uses (2 full days @14 use nodes) and will lock all nodes on the rock in their last position (gold or smithing) I like to use them because I like to target specific ore, say gold while skilling up, you get bone from either regardless. It also reduces the headache of "multi" switching nodes every 1 use. I really doubt 5k every 2 days is going to cut into profits more than nodes jumping around all the time would.

I tried loggin the dates in mamook. i didnt get shit but logs. But cactus stems gave dates pretty good (which i mean like 1-2 every other harvested seed aka out of the 3 1 or 2 will give u a date). takes liek 40 hours tho (unless u use that one fertilizer) im pretty sure i got dates in mog garden elsewhere but i cant seem to locate it. i thot the grove (would make sense since u log them) but i havent gotten a single one since i needed them (from the grove).

It only takes maybe 20 minutes to get a date or two from Caedarva Mire logging. Ferromantoise only responds favorably to Slap. I do not have an Adamantoise yet.

Also, upgrading mog garden activities is based on how many real-life days you do it, not the total number of harvests. This stuff about Revival Roots is superstitious. My first character did hundreds of reps with Revival Roots and I unlocked rank 5 at the exact same time as I got rank 5 pond dredger and arboreal grove. My second character just did Grain Seeds once a day, same result.

It's not superstition it's observations. My characters that got bigger harvests (ie used grow more and/or fertilizer) always got done sooner. And I find it kind of odd that your furrows unlocked at same speed as other stuff since on 6 different characters that have done this all of them the furrows have lagged behind everything else every time.

Yeah I don't buy that. On both my characters, my furrow (checked 1-2x per day doing whatever seeds moogle sells) rankups lagged behind other nodes until I spammed revival roots to catchup.

When was the last time you ranked up? My second character started progressing on March 22, just before the March update which made many changes to the system. It's possible they changed something under our noses.

The last time? I just finished getting rank 7 furrow on one mule 2 days ago and another one a week ago... doing them everyday sometimes multiple times a day. So doubt that's the case

There's a post on official forums by Fujito (the author of Mog Garden) that, albeit pretty generic, says that furrows level up according to number of interactions.
Not sure if the number of items you get matters or not (many people in here were hypothesizing that getting a larger number of stuff from a single interaction produced more "rank up points" than getting less), but on the number of interactions it's pretty much a given information.

Spamming revival tree roots on mine to get rank 7 on two char whenever I get free time, and it is taking forever. I change them out normally a couple times a day if I can depending on if event day or not, and still stuck on rank 6.
