It's amazing how many times they mess up the date/time... interestingly if you go thru the lists of topics on the playonline site the little blurb says wed the 27th but if you click on it it says tuesday

You should make a list and write down the numbers you would have picked. That way, you can feel relieved if none of them turn out to be right.

I have file saved since the first bonanza that I use, has all my numbers so I'm guaranteed atleast a rank 4. Which wouldn't do me any good because its on my main PC at home and not my laptop lol.

Well I seriously doubt anyone was going to change their mind over whether or not to buy marbles based on getting musical sheets I the 4th or 5th place prizes.

So here I was dual boxing a lair reive when in a matter of around 3 minutes no less than 4 other characters show up to it and think hey there is room at this reive and proceed to camp it all together with all of their trusts as well.... so go from getting 2.5k balyd a cycle to 800 with it not being that much faster

So I just wasted 300k gil buying a level 1 item I already have becuase I was busy chatting with friends and not reading quests lines. >.>

Basically I was on GEO main talking to Sylvie, NPC for GEO quests, to start my AF quests. My Matre Bell (lv1 bell) was muled, and she sold me another one for 300k.
Wish I had someone to blame other than me <.<

I Got Cheated Out of a Tactics Pearl.
Hello Square Enix Staff,

I am Billnes. I'm on Ragnarok server. I sent an in-game message to a Game Master. The GM said I should post to the forum. I did the Tactics Pearl Quest. However, I did not get a the Tactics Pearl. I can prove that I did the quest correctly.

I take $14.95 of my hard-earned money out of my pocket every month to play Final Fantasy XI. I do not want an argument from anybody on Square Enix's staff. I don't want a long forum thread that accomplishes nothing. I feel that I have been put into a situation where I must absolutely demand that Square Enix give me the Tactics Pearl.

Is this worth getting on a plane and going to Square Enix's office about? From New York?? Obviously, the answer is: "No". However, is this something to contact a lawyer about? The answer to that question clearly is: "Perhaps".

I am not a "college kid". I am a grown man. I have all the resources I need to peruse this to the bitter-end. If Square Enix decides not to take corrective action, I will do what I feel needs to be done... I want to assure the Square Enix staff that this is not a threat. Threats do nothing but waste the time & resources of the people that make the threats & waste the time and resources of the people that have to hear those threats. I promise Square Enix that I will go to a lawyer to elevate this situation if I have to.

I trust that Square Enix will do the right thing and give me the Tactics Pearl with *absolute zero* argument. I thank you very much for your time, effort and consideration in this matter.

Did Not Get a Tactics Pearl
Dear Square Enix Staff,

The staff at Telephone Support [1-(310)-846-0345] suggested that I not even bother to do a rewrite of my original report, simply to accommodate the haters. The Telephone Support Staff said that the Development Staff would read my post and simply ignore the haters. I decided to go ahead and do the rewrite anyway. I know full-well that doing so empowers the haters. However, if the haters provide the motivation to create more concise and overall better documents, perhaps that's not such a bad thing.

I ask that Square Enix take these factors into consideration: If Final Fantasy XI were a play-for-free game, I would have simply discounted/ignored the fact that I was cheated out of an item. However, since we all pay subscription fees, all code, regardless of server-side or client-side should deliver all the items that Square Enix says it should deliver. In short: Although nothing in life is perfect, people should get maximum value for their hard-earned money and Square Enix needs to work very hard tho insure that his happens. Next, I intend to work very hard to get this situation resolved to my satisfaction - meaning that I want Square-Enix to give me the Tactics Pearl. I don't want to waste additional time, energy and resources escalating this beyond Square Enix Support and myself. However, I will do so if I feel I put into a situation where I have no other options.

I did the Tactics Pearl Quest. However, at the end of said quest, the only item I obtained was the "Homemade Rice Ball" and nothing else.

Knowing that I have always been Learning Disabled and that playing video games has always been difficult & frustrating for me, I decided to take a proactive approach to obtaining the Tactics Pearl.

I used a laptop and desktop computer simultaneously. I used my desktop to connect only to Final Fantasy XI. I then used my laptop only for access to the on-line Final Fantasy XI encyclopedia (wiki.ffxiclopedia.org). Knowing my level of difficulty playing Final Fantasy XI, I wanted to be sure that I had the gameplay screen (on desktop) & the wiki screen (on laptop) right next to each other, to insure absolute clarity. Obviously, the absolute clarity I had hoped for did not materialized.
