I havent fought kb in a few years but gonna use some of my pops. I seem to remember TH not effecting drings drop rate since it shares the slot with pixie earring. Is that correct or should I go on thf for th?

Correct it is a shared slot with pixie earring, however bringing affects the number of abjurations,hides, cloth, and now the tongue.

For instance, if TH2 raises drop % by 50%, and D.ring has a 5% drop rate, wouldn't bringing TH2 make D.ring 7.5% drop rate?

Or does TH ONLY affect the # of slots, and not the quality of drops? Are there any links to testing?

TH only effects drop slots, as far as we know. Easily observed by ffxidb.com, pixie earring/dring distribution is as expected, note that pixie won't drop if everyone has skewing the results a little.

I know that. I was asking whether TH affected rare drop rates (causing rare items which shared slots to drop more commonly instead of the common drops). But people answered that question too.
