i think that was me.

you can't /heal on smn for more than 20s cos it'll say you have an avatar out. and that now happens in town where you don't have pets (presumably if you zone there with a pet still actually out). never happened before. essentially also means unless a smn goes to a moghouse or goes out and dismisses the avatar, they can't log out in town.

i understand for PUP you can't customize the automaton, which is almost as bad.

I highly doubt that this is the actual reason, how many items could have possibly dropped if they had delayed the maintenance start by another 45 minutes so players could change their schedules accordingly? It really wouldn't make any sense. Not to mention, they're severely inconveniencing a lot of players who were doing events that could not just be dropped on the fly.

Sounds normal for them. Something broken that is detrimental to players/game play? Maybe fix it... eventually after people complain enough and we spend forever "investigating". Something broken that is beneficial to players? Emergency maintence right away before anyone even says anything about it and consider banning anyone that benefitted. I mean seriously it was a matter of what 2 hours after an update made cures OP against undead that it was emergency maintenanced. It's been what 3 days now since the update and I still dc everytime I try to do anything with items in my dbox among all the other problems already listed that are still on going
