yeah i'm like 80% sure thats a known issue with his graphics settings. If you have "smoothed frames" on, you will drop frames in game and alter hit/hurtboxes.

Set your framerate to variable

edit: actually even with variable it seems to be random, I can get it to work like 10 times in a row and then it will randomly not work 5 times in a row.

getting mixed results after testing that gen u1 punish. varies with graphics settings and even then, performing the same recorded bipson led to sometimes it would punish, and sometimes it would not. no clue why its happening tbh.

Fwiw, trying the Gen U1 punish on my laptop, ability to punish it is entirely dependent on range the EX PC is started from. Point blank range and a few pixels beyond is punishable, if its done from any farther away can't connect with it.

Absolutely zero variation unless I fuck up the input. Frame rate set on fixed with no vsync.

I've concluded that the guy probably just messed up his block on the ps3 version bipson recording. The only way i was able to punish with gen u1 on pc was with stupid graphics settings. So yes, PC can be bad if you have a shitty computer with dumb settings. Thats not the games fault though. Done it several times on both PC and ps3 and theres no difference with proper settings.

The dude's kinda known for breaking the game, I don't think he overlooked that, considering he even mentioned it in his own comments when he asks people to test it.

Well I havent been able to replicate his findings at all. Point Blank EX Psycho is safe, from more than a couple pixels out, its unsafe on both versions. Cody combo whiffing is due to a late cancel I'm pretty sure, was able to connect hp>mk>hkupkick on both versions. I don't have an xbox or I'd try that as well.

edit: yeah, idk now. actually mashed out the reversal and was able to get u1 to punish. I guess the reversal window is weirder than I thought.
