Point blank to around Gen/Bipson's front feet halfway overlapping (both crouching) was punishable, any range beyond that it was blockable.

I also don't play on my laptop outside of practicing combos, but since I'm in a hotel room and don't have access to my desktop, can't say for sure in that regard.

I'm still convinced both versions are the same. The differences are coming from reversal window being so large. You can still get a "reversal" special a couple frames after wake up, hence the blocked "reversal" ultra. I'm able to get both on both versions now. Includes vegas wall dive as well. And able to punish ex psycho with ken's step kick. Thats why earlier I mentioned mixed results.

It's odd that it's whiffing. The only way TC2xHK Gekiro whiffs on Cody is if he's using the orange jumpsuit costume. Wonder if PC has the same problem.

so apparently VXG had been telling a bunch of top players that they would fly them to the tournament. now they've started reneging on the arrangement, sounds like people have been getting notified by VXG that they will no longer be fulfilling those travel accommodations.

ryan hart and whiteblack have both made comments about it, no idea if VXG is bailing on european players specifically or what, but it sounds rather shitty at any rate.

Can anyone recommend me a decent yet cheaper fightstick? Having fun playing but I hate my xbox controller, and it's so old that its a little inconsistent.

I think the game might become even more fun with a stick, even though I'm still so shitty. Won a few matches today at least.

For my first stick, I found a gamestop with the Xbox brawl stick, bought it for $20 and modded it with good (ie. sanwa parts). Wasn't sure how serious I'd take fighting games, but I eventually bought a Qanba Q4.

Brawlsticks and SEs are rare now so the price is back up, by the time you pay $40 for one then buy upgrade parts you'll spend more than you would on just waiting for the MadCatz VS sticks to have another $80 sale.

Check the VxG stream next wren and see what deals MadCarz has, they should have at least one $80 model.

We held a European qualifier in May to send two players from Europe to the Video X Games in St Maarten. Two tournaments were held, one for Super Street Fighter IV and one for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. These qualifiers were won by WW|MCZ.Ryan Hart and CDV.WhiteBl4ck respectively. Flights to Trinidad were due to be provided by VxG partner Caribbean Airlines, from London Gatwick airport, with VxG taking care of travel from Trinidad to St Maarten.

VxG confirmed to me by email on 25th March that two flights were confirmed for our qualifiers. The qualifiers took place on 25th and 26th May. VxG received notification from Caribbean Airlines on 6th July that they were “unable to take part at this time”, leaving the two European qualifiers without flights. VxG have subsequently tried to make other arrangements, so far to no avail.

VxG has so far offered to send Ryan Hart and WhiteBl4ck to a VxG qualifier in the US for the 2014 event in lieu of the above developments.

The £2,000 of pot bonuses at the event are not associated with either VxG or Caribbean Airlines and will be paid on arrival, which should be this week or the next.
