Barely weaker than CEO, and that's only because it lacks like... momochi. Evo and CEO completely fucked over VxG this year.

When did you start playing? He basically ran the scene down here for the past 3-4 years. Stream and all. He only quit once we all realized SFxT sucked.

I didn't even start playing seriously until after Evo last year, and even then for the first couple months I only played casually. This is around the time where you said stop being a stream monster and actually play, lol. Hell, last evo I didn't know who pretty much ANYONE was.

We'll have to see how the turnout is for VxG, but I don't think it's "barely" weaker because a lot of the talent in Florida + the rest of the east coast (minus EMP ppl, of course) not going to VxG. And how is EVO and CEO fucking over VxG?

They refused to give VxG their dates to provide a better scheduling, and then when VxG announced their dates, were forced (muscled) to move theirs AFTER their date was already announced and set?

Predicting payout failures, horrible tournament time, and general stupidity from VxG.

Majors in any esport tend to be built up over time rather than a big splash, those that try and do that tend to fail pretty frequently.

So can anyone tell me what happened last year over at VxG? Because everyone seems to vehemently HATE VxG, but I don't know of anything happening with them. you guys speak as if VxG is revelations v2.0

Everyone got paid immediately last year @ VxG. I don't think they will have any payment issues, honestly.

I am actually more excited to watch VxG than CEO because the prize pools are so much better. I'd like to see Dieminion take home 6 g's or Wong win with games and take home 12+.
