I meant their own product, Mortal Kombat, and by "character design" I meant the art/design of the MK characters. There is a lot going on, and it is done very well.

Thursday night, we saw him and mike ross walking around with bags of shirts and made them give us some lmao. pretty sure I lost mine somewhere though.

Also the most ridiculous thing happened to me and kevin in marvel.

We were playing a set and I was playing spencer. He swapped over to spencer for a few rounds. During the same match, we BOTH decided to do the same thing to open... call assist, dash+armor piercer... so at 99sec we both bounce off the walls and the assists hit eachother.

We both threw our sticks because of how mindfucked we were.

But yes, I was talking about their latest product in this engine, which..was the entire point (when mentioning Injustice) but in the end, it doesn't matter. With the next games, they have time to make their characters look better.

Yeah I know, and I'm not white knighting him or anything, he can be a total butthole sometimes. All I want out of people is that if they hate him because he's an asshole, for them to say that they hate him because he's an asshole, rather than trying to shoot down UFGT which has been a fantastic experience for me the last few years. Even if UFGT wasn't his creation he still put up the time and money to keep it going and did a good job running it and at the least he should get a little credit for that.

I mean, you're entitled to your opinion...but you're wrong. DC has some decent villains but the reason the movies are bad is because they're trying to bring bad source material to the big screen and can't figure out why just throwing money at them isn't working.

Seriously, look at what Fox did with the first, what...five? Xmen movies and they still have more of a following. And that's after shitting all over every character except Wolverine.

Edit: Having said that, I would play the shit out of Injustice if it actually tried to play like a fighting game. And they didn't have faces that could scare children.

As a hard-core comic nerd, can definitely confirm Marvel > DC. DC has had some consistently awesome shit over the years (Geoff John's Green Lantern run, anytime Grant Morrison touches Superman), but their average level of quality for their comics is shit and never helped by the fact they cancel any comic not related to the big 3 (Supes, Batman, WW) before they have a chance to get good.

Anyways, back to fighting games. No matter how poopy they may be at times, MK consistently have a fairly interesting story, and they've had some solid single player alternate modes for alot of their games.

As much as Capcom games may rule the roost, they consistently offer nothing of value in terms of variety past online mode. While that may be the meat and potatoes the FGC wants, yall niggas know you fucking love Tekken Ball.

Doom is a better villain than all of DC combined, and he's fighting against the worst superheros in either.

Not to mention adding in Magneto (kinda a villain), or Dormammu.

The only good villains in DC are batmans and they're all gimmicky and one dimensional.

No one is discrediting him for keeping it going and putting his money into it; people outside of his Chicago inner-circle just couldn't give 2 fucks if he leaves and hands it over.
