Sherry gets bodied by randoms at WNF like 90% of the time.
Some of these kids at Super Arcade are really good though. Yesterday there was some 15 year old kid with 37 wins on random select, he lost to a Makoto when random select gave him Dhalsim. The competition was intense I left 12-19

Fuck me why is this game so fucking dumb at recognizing inputs, I have no concept of how the fuck you do Open Fire M, if you jump then do it it doesn't come out, if you TK it either the jump doesn't come out and you do the ground version or it super jumps, or you just get jump-forward M. I'm under the assumption that this really should not be as hard as it's being, and I've played enough games to know that I'm not completely incapable of cleanly inputting a TK fireball.

Tiger knee inputs are a little goofy in mvc3, you have to really delay the button press for the moves to come out compared to a lot of other games.

Yeah the timing on TK is retarded. I tried learning Lightning Loops and gave up. The shit it too dumb. Both sides of the screen require different timing.

I don't know. I'm using Wolverine, Doom, Vergil because I don't want to spend hours in training mode....
Seriously, It took me
-Dr.Doom 30 minutes to learn how to kill off my opponent using 2 bars (finishing them off with the chair)
-Vergil 20 minutes to demolish an entire team with level 3 X Factor
But...
-Zero 8 hours later, cannot land L lightning (used for the loops) after a lvl 3 buster lol
So yeah, trying Wolverine later

Play Spencer... they are not that hard but the timing is a little strict. You most likely need to tighten up your button press timing rather than the stick inputs.

Hardest part of Wolverine is the DP/Fatal Claw loop, nothing else he has should take more them a few minutes to get down. The loop should at most take you 20 minutes to have down perfect, maybe less since getting it started with Vergil's assist is easier then with some other assists. Originally Posted by Shinebox
