oh, here's a random question: does anyone know if they added combo trials for the new 5 (or AE characters for that matter)? not particularly important to me but i know my friends who are more casual fans of the genre would probably be annoyed by their omission.

As of right now, the upgrade isn't bringing in new trials for new characters. They are also omitting trials for Oni and Evil Ryu.

Any trials in the system will date back to SSF4, so be wary of getting any knowledge from there.

No idea if the disc release has new trials.

I think Bum needs to be realistic here, if RayRay and Flux just did a stream from one of their houses of them two playing it would have the same viewership. He gets the same views that I did for our Chicago regionals and that is some of the worst Marvel possible.

If you're into that sort of thing, the Steam version can earn you a Fuck ton of achievements really fast if you played it alot previously.

After the first online game it "synced" my BP/PP/games played etc to the server, and I got about 20 achievements all at once
