Seems I'm not the only one who can tell the friend/request system is total shit through Steam! Apparently, Steam players cannot change their region either due to Steam. This means people in Mexico or Canada are stuck with almost empty lists....RIP

On a lighter note, I grinded out the BP last night and hit #1 Ibuki over the last JP dude in my way. Good way to retire her as Ultra hit today!

A lot of this sounds like it's Capcom's issue specifically. Luckily they're now in a position where they can patch whenever and not have to drop a few Gs on Sony/Microsoft QA and certification.

Hopefully they're reworking the entire PC infrastructure for Ultra with the lessons they got from performing a hatchetjob to get Steamworks in. Saying this because the Steam implementation for KOF13 is actually pretty good.

yeah, gamestop 'DLC' preorders/purchases are always just currency codes for whatever network you're purchasing on. they might give you a separate preorder code to redeem for the costumes though

So far:

2) Mic not mutable through UI
Mic issues causing lag
Friend List is botched to hell and back
Sound starts to sound like its underwater after a couple of matches
3) Invite system: see above but worse (Recent players??)
Steam causes "Please wait for opponent' and it doesn't remember last action like GFWL did to handle lag (causes you to go neutral and can't even block)
DLC Costumes not ported over
Pretty much all modding from the PC community causes a game crash via Steam
People who previously had 0 lag with friends now say it feels like a red bar connection
1) Region locked so people in Canada/Mexico/etc are stuck in dead zones
4) Every other player is just 50 character troll names
Game takes almost 5 times longer to revert you back to menu when attempting to join a full game
Announcer volume in some cases cannot be adjusted

1) Steam Settings -> Downloads -> Download Region and pick your region.

Don't blame Steam for players ignorance. I'm not going to pretend to know about the netcode problems, could be a number of things, and neither of us have any authority in the matter.

I'm not quite sure on that one, everyone I play games with is on my friends list and its been way too long since I last played something like TF2. I know you can leave messages on their profile if its not private. If their profile is private then you'd have to add them.

Home/xbox button + right trigger or right bumper? I can't remember exactly, you can change it as well I believe if you don't like that.
