Ibuki Hugo is worse than the Bison matchup ever was....I think its 8-2 at the best for her.

I think Justin Wong wasnt kidding when he said people are going to need multiple characters. I think every character in this version has a match up they get dominated in. Yun has Zangief. E.Ryu has Rose. Zangief still gets raped by Sagat. Ryu has Dhalsim etc...

i get your point now, i played some hugo today myself in ranked. I am a really bad hugo (i cant pull sometimes 360s off), but st. HP, BACKOOOOBRAAAAAKER, St. MP. Cr. LK CR.LP and handclap pressure was enough to shutdown ibukis offens or penetrate it, with ultra 2. going for vortex -----> EX BACKOOOOBREAKER, all this basic staff was enough to shut down the 2000PP 5000BP ibuki (the matches were still very close, but thats because i have no clue of hugo). I have no idea what experienced hugo players would do to ibuki ¬.¬ Originally Posted by Weltall

There is really fucking no way in on Juri with Hugo when she constantly stores 39203920392 gazillion fireballs and all 3 can hit you.

Yeah....I need to upgrade a pocket fireball character for Hugo matchups lol.
I hit #2 Ibuki yesterday (I've only played like 2 and a half hours of Ultra?), but every time I would run into a Hugo, auto loss Q_Q

The only way WNF will have any chance to win is if they get Justin Wong and JayceTheAce on their team. Outside of that one A+ player (Snakeeyez) and a bunch of Bs isn't going to cut it against a team with one A+ (Dieminion), and at least two other A players (Zeus, Sanford, Smug). What I found hilarious is that
Oni, Guile, Sagat, Vega, Dhalsim and Rose are all bad match ups for Zangief. The only character Snakeeyez could beat on match up alone is Dudley... Snakeeyez does relatively well in bad match ups though.

Uh, the point is to have the weekly players in it lol. Justin Wong goes to WNF like twice a year, right before SCR and right before EVO...
This is not west vs. east.

That's because he doesn't have a car. He was on team TRB at SCR, he rarely goes to TRB as well. It's really up to Henry Cen and Mike Watson who they put on the teams anyway. Originally Posted by Weltall

They have easily enough players to fill a 5v5...but yes, they will get stomped because the east weekly team is much better.
I'm much more interested in a USA vs. Europe 10v10 since Ryan Hart keeps saying Europe would win. He said that last year and they got DESTROYED 5-0 full sweep, and then 5-1 in a runback that they didn't even deserve.
