One of my training partners SenseiGuy is in the same pool as me, so I have a lot of experience in that MU. The only people I feel worried about running into early are Saltine and Kbrad. I'm almost considering playing Sagat against his Gief, but who knows what will happen.

Edit: Unless something big happens, Evo isn't happening for me. I'm getting a new management position next month and my girlfriends best friend is getting married in california in September. Taking two vacations in 2 months doesn't feel like a good idea.

booking my evo flight today, anyone flown southwest before? they have a cheap fare available for a hundo less than what USAir is asking right now, with better times, and also it's not USAir. i'm wondering if i should pull the trigger now or if there's something horrible about southwest i'm not aware of

edit- nvm, i wasn't paying attention, i was only looking at the per flight cost, not round-trip lol. horrible times with USAir it is!

roundtrip with southwest turned out to be $300 more than the multi-carrier trip i was able to piece together, definitely not in the budget. i woulda had this booked 2 months ago if my car didn't keep deciding to shit the bed in half a dozen ways

I always fly Southwest, if nonstop is available. They don't fly international, but they have 0 bag fees (up to 2 bags per person), etc. I've had horrible luck with Delta, and 0 issues ever with SW.

I generally fly SW, but ended up taking Virgin America for Evo. Bag fees don't matter to me though since Military ID = free luggage.

I usually fly JetBlue, but US Airways is the only airline that has a direct flight this time for me so I'm taking it with them.

yeah, from everything i have heard, i will be booking w/ them if i go next year. this should hopefully be my last trip i'll ever have to take using gutter-tier carriers like US, waiting on an offer atm that will have me in a much more comfortable position for 2015.

oh well, i got it booked, everything is a go and it's only two weeks off now... just gotta find someone willing to drop me off in boston at 5:30am now, lol. fucking hyped!
