Nope. This seems to be more along the lines of strongarming by sponsors to force the major TOs adopt such a rule. No way in hell would the major TOs readily give up their fiefdoms to EVO for all of their decisions.

Comeback mechanics are fine. Comeback mechanics because you are losing are not as fine (IE: XF and Ultra). Earning your comeback through smart play (using focus well defensively) seems kinda dope to me. There's gotta be a way to reward smart play with a comeback mechanic.

Any character that has an anti-fireball ultra also would have a pretty big advantage against zoners ;D

And suck all the fun and experimentation out of locals. I'm fine with the rule, it's whatever to me. I don't like censoring from media outlets of smaller tournaments that don't apply the rule.

Also, meanwhile, Vega still has 2 ultras (and a super) that are pretty much useless.
