Edit: also apparently last night a new build of the game leaked to people (possibly retail) and you could play it, I didn't realize it though so I didn't get a chance to play of the retail only stuff.

When I bought it last night, it let me install both the beta and retail version on my desktop. Later I set it to download on my laptop, and only got the beta.

Didn't bother to see the difference between the two though.

Beta version is probably from roughly a month ago, you'll see some stuff like incomplete animations where they put a hand-drawn placeholder instead of the actual sprite.

Not in that context, but they were going to put big money into the EVO and EVO qualifiers for 2014, and now it seems like a cancelled deal. More will probably come out soon.

wouldn't surprise me if sony was gonna start throwing some money around next year, presumably in an attempt to make headway on becoming the tournament standard for next-gen.

so now they're pulling out because of all this collusion shit? or was there something else?
