If you assume the H2H skill adds D like it does everywhere else, these are actually D90+17=107, an upgrade from before (101).

Oatixur got a similar upgrade, from 146 to 126+25=151

Even if they don't get the h2h skill >>> D convert, it's not like either h2h was underpowered before.

Edit, refreshing the page before posting would be a good idea.

Probably because, like Quickdraw, it's just accuracy, but that does quantify to more damage on given targets.

Lunge is different. It's base dmg is based on skill. I'm betting it more has to do with it just counting towards melee. Kinda like when blu equips a weapon normal skill/acc will make it's physical spells more accurate but this new skill wont.

They seem to not have really thought things thru really. Like the idea is to make higher and higher lvl mobs and instead of having us lvl up they lvl up with gear. Except they keep conviently forgetting alot of stuff we would get lvling up. Like everything related to getting more magic skill except macc and even then they are only caring about pure mage jobs macc. Poor blu. For that matter magic dmg in general is getting ignored. Dual wielders are basically being shafted as well. We will let everyone else get 20 lvls but you will be stuck with less on your offhand. pets outside of pup are getting stuff after the fact. Boost everyone else then think of pets. Then immediately boost everyone else again. Bst is particularlly shafted there.

In the end given all the things you have to specifically create gear for and such I can't really buy there it would be easier to do progression this way instead of thru lvling. At least not properly. But then again it seems they aren't caring to do it properly lol

I'm just glad I've been too lazy not building a new PC, so I haven't pushed myself to make m.acc staves for my RDM enfeebs. Now I won't have to do that!

Stats update overall is pretty great for latecomers/slowpokes to the expansion, aside from it pretty much obsoleting near everything now aside from some AF3+2/macro pieces.

some magian m.acc staves are still nice for the recast in combo with the m.acc the provide: namely light (Arise and status removals like erase etc), thunder (stun) and darkness (aspirs), wind to some extent if you are gravity happy.

I'd think that at least for the offensive spells you could swap in some haste/fast cast peices elsewhere to maintain that recast and still possibly maintain higher macc.

well if bokwus gloves and feet get the 4% haste and 6% haste then yes. But then again doesnt the -recast thingy bypass the cap assuming you hit fast cast cap/haste cap?

i think the recast on the staves is its own thing, so you "could" stack them with haste and get even MORE recast reduction.

but still, they're going from those things we all realize we should make but nobody wants to, to a pretty niche deal.

Magians are equivalent to 28% FC recast.

Did they specifically mention not touching Brethren axe? I did not see it on the list, but I am also a terrible finder.

Hmph, they removed 9 INT from Orvail Cuffs. I used those for Helices! (Not that magic damage, and specially Helices, matter at all now, but...)

I'd be surprised if they didn't, seeing that the fracture axe is being adjusted.

I noticed that, kinda weird. For that piece in particular it looks like they wanted to kind of overhaul the stats. Perhaps they dropped the INT to compensate for the magic accuracy and they only intended it to be a magic accuracy piece? I'm not really sure. It could be a typo also, a lot of pieces seem to have weird or missing stats. Definitely says INT+6 on the JP side atm though.

Edit: Never mind, they already have magic accuracy. It's almost definitely a typo, but someone's going to need to report it if it doesn't get fixed by next week when we get the real English help text. If you have test server access you can just hop on there and equip the gloves to see what stats they give. The stats the items give have already been adjusted to the new ones, just the help text is still the English help text reflecting the old stats.

Helices are probably going to be incredible once you start stacking "magic damage+" pieces - I wouldn't count them out.

Why 28% recast? I remember people you testing it to be additive with the normal FC recast term.

Since FC/2 determines the recast, you should need 28% FC to receive 14% recast reduction.
