Auction house item list is truncated/slow-loading

I reinstalled FFXI today and I ran into a problem with the auction house. When I choose a category (e.g. axes, body) only 30 or 40 items are displayed, and the rest simply don't show up. There's no loading or failure text, it's just a shortened list. This only happens 90%~ of the time, and the number of items that show up vary. The rest of the game, oddly enough, has been working fine.

I've tried restarting my computer and doing a file check, but neither of those helped. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I'm running the game through Steam on Windows 7, if that makes a difference.

How long are you letting the list load? I mean, it can take like 10 seconds for the food > ingredients list to load.

I've tried giving it upwards of 3 minutes after it stopped expanding. It didn't help, unfortunately.

It's working now. I'm not really sure what I did to get it back to normal, though.
