Whoa. Outbreak Company episode 3 was completely different from the first two episodes. There was strategic thinking, a well animated fight scene, blood and injuries, and some silly cross world shenanigans.
I did not expect that in any way, shape, or form.
I get this feeling that everyone has this passive hatred for MC in kyoukai. Either that or they're colossal dicks to everyone. Maybe some bullshit bloodline nonsense
never heard of Bravest Warriors. checked it out. around 5-6min an episode. the horse was a bad ass in Season2 ep1
Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku o Ketsui Shimashita Ep 3
More sakuga mixed with fanservice.

Spoiler: show
Well some action in Yuushibu, it's not so bad even though the fanservice is very gratuitous, it seems like it was meant to be a hentai that was toned down for the tv.
I'm liking Log Horizon so far
A couple of my more recent favourite chapters covered in Space Bros this last episode. Really enjoyed it, next episode should be a good one! And I dunno about anyone else, but I absolutely love the little "Hibbit" shorts at the end of each episode, they're hilarious in such an innocent, happy-go-lucky way
I'm enjoying Log Horizon too, but still think it has a weird atmosphere with no one caring of being trapped in a game lol.
Idk I'm also sure there are some people who would love to live in an MMO if it worked basically the same as the game itself and you couldn't die... there are people who spend their lives playing MMOs because they hate/are bored with their real lives after all. I for one, every time I see stuff like this, keep thinking I wouldn't mind living in an MMO for a while either! (well...a good one, anyway).
It's pretty much a given for me that if we ever get fully sensory immersive VR, I'll never see daylight again.
Having minimal emo vibes is a strong reason I find Log Horizon refreshing and enjoyable; Log Horizon is downright rational compared to many shows.
For example, I remember watching Accel World and wanting to smack Haruyuki repeatedly; that's still nothing compared to Shinji from the original Evangelion though (fortunately!)
I don't say it's not enjoyable, just a bit anticlimactic, that's all.
Wasn't expecting this
Spoiler: show
lol what? what anime is this?
That's Outbreak Company. That was the part in the first episode when I decided I'm following the show, and episode three solidified my trust in it for now.
Everyone's on with Log Horizon for the SAO hate, but personally, sitting at two episodes in for both, I've got Outbreak Company in a higher tier than Log Horizon.
Now, Outbreak is at the bottom of the best, and Log is the top of the mid, and it can certainly change as the season goes on, but it's mostly going to be on Log to step up rather than Outbreak fucking up.
As for first casualty, Walkure Romanze, fucking dropped. I did give it more episodes than it deserved, but holy fuck I thought it could at least manage to make it to three. Nope.
I'd like to switch to Yozakura, but 1) I'd like to watch the first series even though I don't strictly need too, and 2) The only choice for subs is Cthuko, and they're apparently pretty fucking mediocre. (Similar for the original series as well, but at least there is one complete option besides Chihiro. Shame AniYoshi dropped though.)
I guess I'll give Galilei Donna a shot.
