That flyover is absolutely gorgeous.
The movie, whatever, I wouldn't mind watching if I had time to kill. The big thing to take away from this thread is that fucking amazing ISS flyover. Christ, I'm glad a) it was posted and b) I stumbled in here!
I'm torn. I didn't want to see Phonebook because it was 2 hours of one guy in a box and Snakes voice (although that is why I saw it, mmmm.) It turned out to be great. I didn't want to see 127 hours cause its 2 hours of Franco in a hole, also turned out to be great. I didn't want to see avatar cause it was entirely CGI and had sigourney weaver, turned out ok. I didn't want to watch this because its 2 hours of floating around and talking to each other with lots of CGI. I'll probably see it, but it'll be with my gf or something. It's not one of those movies I'm going to go out of my way or see with a bunch of friends. It has potential to be terrible, tons of cons, but I thought the same about other movies listed and I didn't regret watching those. Plus, we've needed an excuse to go to the new theater with the couches/loveseats that recline pretty much fully, so this will be it.
Now, if we talk Buried... I knew not to watch that and never did, so it's all good.
tons of cons? LOL
Thought it looked quite boring from the trailers but it gets raving reviews right now: Rotten has it sitting at 95%, Meta 96, IMDB 7.9. Apparently stunning, oscar material visuals and a terrific Sandra Bullock.
5 out of 5 review: http://www.sfx.co.uk/2013/09/13/gravity-review/
Not really spoilerific, you get the gist of what's going to happen from just watching the trailer.
Scored free tickets for Machete and this thing. The critics are praising it and shit, ain't surprised because Cuaron is a superb director.
Plus clooney and bullock... this has no choice but to be fucking fantastic. Sorry for all these fools in this thread and your horrible taste in everything.
like this guy for example
Steven Soderberg and Cloondog made Solaris the steaming pile of shit that it is.
if only Solaris had Sandra bullock.
Looks like some of you niggas will have to swallow some crow.
Nah. It's cool though we get it it's a Mexican director so you fanboying it up. Children of men was critically acclaimed too and it was boring as fuck.
call it what you wanna call it, cloondogg is a smashaholic. WE'VE GOT A HIT ON OUR HANDS
