    There was no struggle? No motivation....did you even listen to the movie lol. The whole thing was about Sandra -
    Spoiler: show
    losing someone who helped her survive (technically twice) and coping with loss and finally overcoming the overwhelming feeling of "I just can't do it"

    I figured the motif of the movie was supposed to be silence...Sanda even mentions it. So of course the only dialogue that is in the movie is going to be minimal and important in some way. If you can't figure it out then this movie was 2 deep 4 u.

    Why am I even arguing?

    More importantly why are you arguing with a guy wanting a deep plot yet watches anime, a genre known for its not-so-deep plots and recurrent themes?

    i think gravity isnt whats weighing the situation down, but whats weighing him down is the dominos pizza and jimmy johns he eats while masturbating furiously to hentai

    Saw it yesterday, enjoyed it well enough. If you go, I hope you have a high Suspension of Disbelief level, because there's a few things in that just make you go Hmmm. If you can get past that, you'll enjoy it. A couple of people I went with couldn't, and loathed it.

    I loved it, even if I went "wtf" at them slamming into space stations at about 100 miles per hour each time and not breaking every bone in their body.

    Really great film though, with some really touching/moving scenes. Also, Sandra looks incredible.

    A friend whose opinions on movie I hold in very high regard hated it, but I've seen a massive amount of good reviews on it. I think I might pony up for it this week since g/f wanted a date night anyways and there's crap else out atm.

    Machette Kills is a fucking awesome date night movie. Dragged my wife to the first one when it came out and she wound up loving it.

    Gravity = unique experience, wonderful film. Machete = gratuitous 70s exploitation cheese. Rush = If you're a 70s F1 gearhead/loves historic rivalries.

    Anyway, the movie is not what I expected. I was thinking it would be more like Open Water, somebody stuck in a situation with no hope of survival. Great movie, but mixed feelings on the ending. I thought the ending worked, but wonder if it would have been better if they went the other way. Died instead of lived or lived instead of died to avoid spoilers.
