So I'm making a children's card game

Is it gonna be a generic card game like every other or are you doing something unique? Will it be digital or physical or both? I love card games but why should I give a shit?

We have three artists and the producer handles some of it himself.

This is the one I showed off yesterday. Once the page is up and running I'm gonna show off new art every few days.

The game itself plays more like FF Tactics than your generic card game. Each player's mat is a 2x4 grid with a front and back line so when the players put their mats together, it's the full 4x4 battlefield. Your Advent (general type card) takes a spot behind your back line and has a Morale total that has to be depleted to lose. The Advents generally have one static ability as well as one exhaust ability. There are elements of YGO, WoW, Magic, Even DBZ and Naruto in the game but the base battle mechanic is unrelated to any of them. Each of your Armada have an attack, defense, and range that can be used to your positional and statistical advantage (you can also move before or after your declared attack). Decking your opponent out can also reduce his or her morale; every card that a player has to draw but cannot will reduce their morale by 0.

There are some board game elements as well. Some of your Armada can phase through others, or crush them by moving onto a spot occupied by something with less defense. There's even a knockback/ring-out mechanic keyworded into a few cards. We wanted to give people destructive and damaging options that didnt always come down to "hey this number beats your number". The plan is to make the game both digital as well as physical, but the initial funding will go into shipping the physical game.

Sounds cool, I really like what Mojang's done with Scrolls (I'm sure you've seen it but if not it's on a 3x5 grid), I think the card game + tiles idea has a shit ton of potential, will be keeping an eye out to see what you guys can cook up. Best of luck.
