Galaxy S4 Lock Screen textlength

Greetings!

I have recently acquired a S4 after I carelessly wrecked my S3 hauling wood.
On the S3 the customized lock message could be fairly long, so I had alternative contact info etc. there, but on the S4 I can't seem to make the message very long, the text doesn't scale, I can't seem to add more lines, so I can barely fit in name and company
I am probably (hopefully) missing something obvious, but my google-fu fails to produce search results going much more advanced than just how to edit the lock screen message itself.

Anyone know how this might be accomplished short of a root/very invasive app?

Ah, Android version 4.2.2.
European version of the phone (if they differentiate,not sure), not bound to any carrier.
I can root it, but would prefer not to, I serve in a tech capacity in the company I work for, and we have several S3/S4s so it's nice to have the same interface to compare with when something comes up.

Assuming its settings options are the same as the US version, do the following: Settings > My Device > Lock Screen > Lock Screen Widgets > Owner Information.

It will allow you to enter a fair amount, and it scrolls across the lock screen assuming you set it to show the information. Hopefully this is what you were looking for!

Alas, I do not have the "Owner Information" option under "Lock screen widgets", i only have "Favourite apps or Camera" (which is greyed out), "Clock or personal message" (set to personal message) and "Edit Personal Message", which has the incredibly short limit :/


edit: oh, holy hell! You have to have "Clock" as the option selected. Me <3 you long time.
(English is my 3rd language, I wasn't 100% certain what the name was I was looking for, but getting the precise names made my googling significantly more accurate, thank you!)
