Do you know what the gfx device is to begin with? You could go download them straight from the manufacturer, like nvidia, amd, or intel.
Model of the toshiba would be helpful so we can find the drivers page. Perhaps it uses some large custom driver pack like my asus does; it needs this pack installed first as it contains drivers for a lot more of the hardware. You can then install updated vid drivers (run the installer to uninstall the vid drivers only before upgrading).
