Post Pictures of Your Benchmark Character

Going for a more Veteran look. I'd like to get a kinda Aragorn vibe. Plus, the Miqo'te features give him a bit of Wolverine too. In short, he feels like a badass. The only problem is that he might look kinda out of place as a mage, or in super heavy armor since he has that Ranger/Rogue/Freelancer look. He looks much better in Racial or lvl 20 gear than any of the other options in the Benchmark.

This made me smile, really cute couple.

Can't decide between these face/skin combos. Chocolate looks nice but it kinda blends a lot with the hair color.

The darker one looks nicer. Bottom one looks too much like ganondorf.

I've narrowed it down to Roegadyn or Highlander, but can't decide on a few details.

Highlander guy has green eyes, but unfortunately the only good looking Highlander face (IMO) has tiny eyes and I'm trying to bring out the green in his eyes more with the green highlights in his hair. Otherwise, I'd go with the understated black highlights. Roegadyn guy is the good guy you'd bring home to mommy, but I can't decide on yellow/gold eyes or green eyes. Opinions on which I should go for?

Definitely go with that roe with green eyes and dark red hair, he looks fantastic.

YES, finally lala dude with facial hair. More of this kind need to exist.

Added the face paint from 1.0, unsure if I want to stick with it or not.

I like it. If you're unsure though just wait for 2.1 barber shop.

Started messing with my Lalafell alts.. endless small tweaks here and there. I'm trying to go for a polar opposite type of deal with them so one has a black/red theme and the other white/blue (aside from eyes cause I love the glazed look of Dunefolk).

I played a Mithra in FFXI for far too many years, and I don't think I can commit to playing another female character for what may turn into another several years; I'll probably end up picking one of the other two.

If I had to choose one, I'd go with the Midlander. I'm not partial to the mancats though. I think they look strange.

Thx for the feedback, made is eyes and iris a little bigger changed the color a hair as well.

It's actually kind of funny that you'd mention that, I was just having that conversation with someone last night. It seems like most of the time whenever guys put together female characters and decide to touch the makeup options they become easily identifiable as being made by men, because they either look like geisha dolls or clowns.

For blush you would want pink and rosey colors for lighter skin tones and orange-peachy for darker. Eyeshadow is a lot broader on what looks good because it depends on your eye color mostly, like plum makes green eyes pop. Hopefully that helps!

yeah the first eyeshadow option is practically facepaint on the highlander and looks bad, I think the midlanders works but should use light instead of dark. makeup is supposed to enhance your natural beauty, not hide it under funky colors.

Having green eyes irl I can attest to plum being the best option to get it them popping super green. I believe blue eyes are better with golden/yellow or bronze options which will make them appear more blue. Another rule of thumb is you want to choose the eyes or the lips and make one stand out over the other, hot pink lips and bright blue eyeshadow is confusing where picking one to highlight and toning down the other will guide the eye to where you want them to look at you.
