Monstrosity: Abilities and General Mechanics

Was waiting until Lv50 to post, but Shower's Burn is definitely stronger than Spray's, yeah. I try to gather ~4 mobs at a time with Heat Barrier up and using Shower>Pulse and then spamming Shower. Been trying to find Plantoid or Undead heavy areas to make use of Killer effects. Also you can't overwrite Burns etc.

It also bears repeating that:
Lizards won't aggro you while you're a Beast
Vermin won't aggro you while you're a Lizard
Plantoids won't aggro you while you're a Vermin
Beasts won't aggro you while you're a Plantoid

Since it's already possible to break 9999 HP (see: Atoreis' craziness, Drain2 on Volatile Matamata) I would be incredibly surprised if we didn't break 10k considering I already have ~4k at lv40

Drain II on Volatile Matamata doesn't break the cap; it puts you directly at 9999.

Do JP's not sleep or did they just get lucky when picking a Class to get 60? Cause Bee unlocked d*ck... I picked the worse one to take to 60 >_>

Did you check the vendor/quest npcs after getting bee to 60? I think their wiki says bee 60 unlocks gnat.

I did, I checked every MF in there like 3 times, Didn't see Gnat anywhere and the guy on the far right still gave me the same old "Gtfo" talk. I guess I can check the Vendor as all 3 Different Bees?

When i get back to the Place, I'll talk to the Monster Vendor on all 3 Bee jobs and see if Gnat shows up. I'll try talking to the Guy one the far right again too.

Ah nvm than. They have level 60 beetle down as unlocking scorpion as well, for whatever it's worth.

Work calls happened, but 70 doesn't auto unlock anything. Have not been back to "town" to check vendors.

I did get a TH8 thing out of no where after i got 70, didn't see it proc up to that point.

I'm guessing someone might have just put gnat up a row too high on their wiki and it's supposed to be fly that unlocks gnat.

Magma Fan does roughly ~500 dmg; however since Xarcabard is the highest level zone I can go to as a beautiful wamoura and the highest level monsters there are ~52, I'm going to hang up the wamoura hat and progress on Diremite now.

This is what I was afraid of. Once i get Wamoura to 50 I'll probably hop ship onto something else too... I guess i'll take Fly up to 45~60 and unlock Gnat/Whatever

My chat log has no info when I defeat an opponent, no xp gain, no level up message, no infamy. Also no status effects in battle, such as poison wearing off, etc. Anyone else having this issue or know how to remedy it?

Also was curious if the TP gain per hit is the same for all monster family? Seems like every species I've played so far has been 6.something per hit.

I can't be certain but I also think the Wamoura proper has a slower movement speed than normal too-- though not as potent as the Campa. That or the Diremite moves faster! (Likely the former since I didn't notice anything when leveling Mite earlier) Another possibility might be the big model throwing me off idk

Question: What unlocks Diremite again? Beetle > Spider > Diremite?
