Snort is an HP Based TP move, like a Breath Attack. So its likely quite awful compared to Big Horn and Gnaw.

40 Lynx gets Petrifactive Breath. 180 TP petrifies target. Only used once and lasted about 27 seconds.

Edit: useable by both Coeurl forms. Nothing from NPCs.

Sure you're not just getting resisted :X? Snort from Enemies is definitely HP Based. Weird lol. Kinda lame. Knockback seems pointless >_>

So I didn't log out for maintenance and just leveled my monster in Beaucedine until the server kicked me. When you log back in, you see your character naked w/o a job (though a lvl equivalent to your monster's) and you receive gestation upon loading.

Level 30 Wivre.

Wivre Instinct I: VIT +15, Evasion -30, DEF +100.

Wivre (maybe all (big) monsters?) also appears to have some sort of innate multiplier for Defense. I equip Wivre Instinct I, and I gain 160 Defense. I equip Bugard Instinct I (30 defense) and I gain 45 Defense.
I think the multiplier is 1.5x. It works for Bugard Instinct (30 x 1.5 = 45) and 15 vit = 7 Def so 107 x 1.5 = 160 which works for Wivre Instict too.

Oh yeah, Level 30 TP move is Boiling Blood. Berserk and Haste at the cost of Defense.

Without a job? This sounds intriguing. Try doing a job-based fight like Pulling the Strings or something and see what happens.

He means on the log-on screen where you see your character. Once you're actually back in the game, you'll be the monster.

Lv1 - Sudden Lunge - 130 TP; does about slightly more than a normal hit, knockback and a short duration stun (isnt super long like the BLU version) and inflicts recoil dmg
Lv10 - Noisome Powder - 100 TP; AoE attack down
Lv20 - Spiral Spin - 100 TP; 200% conal dmg + acc down, this does a ton of damage but be careful since the cone is over 13y long and can "accidentally" cause you to prepull a few mobs
Lv30 - Nepenthean Hum - 200 TP; AoE amnesia
