I had a long reply back saying some valid points for various things, but I pushed the wrong button and it wiped it clean. At any rate, They're having fun, and I'm happy for them. I would never try and convince them otherwise. It was my opinion that I would never do that. But what it boils down to, I should have just kept my opinion to myself; especially on a forum where the majority is probably fans of cosplay.

spider cricket. parents house was infested with them once. if you have one odds are you have many. they are truly the stuff of nightmares when you go to take a shower and one of those bastards is hopping around like mad in there.

We called them camel crickets. I had the same experience. Hop in the shower all is fine and dandy. Hop out and OMGWTFHUEG thing jumps at me from the back of the toilet. Banged my elbow on the sink from jumping out of surprise.

We used to get them all the time. Turn off the lights, get a nerf gun, and go hunting. I used to use something like this...

Thanks a ton, that's all I needed to know! I have a basement apartment, and have been in here for a few years now, and this year was really the first time I saw these guys. So far only saw two of the Cave variety and two normal crickets, but I think I may know where they're really coming from. Thanks again for the info.

I have the super big gun there, the fully automatic. If I ever get the free time I'm going to mod-repaint it. Also, there is a barrel clip from another gun that you can use on that one

I think anyone can be fans of cosplay if it's done correctly. If it's shitty, then no one will care. If it's good, then people will likely give some sort of reaction.

I have a little saying about opinions that I usually follow. I don't know if I came up with it, or if I heard it somewhere else and adapted it.

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, most of the time they're full of shit, and you're better off keeping them to yourself.
