That would have been good if the game was broken up into the main game and then a different poster for each expansion -- which honestly, would be awesome. I'd be all over a CoP poster. Prishe or Bahamut would have some epic lines, or even Promanthia at the end.

I think something from Lilisette's final speech at the end of WotG would have worked well:

The tower climb was the one mission that I didn't like because it took so fucking long and the dolls/pots/I forget at the very end were annoying. Everything else was quite enjoyable when it was hard as fuck, especially Ouryu or the Promethia fight or Airship or Snoll or even the Promyvions.

I did it 'as' PLD (pre-nerf of course) and it wasn't even hard... I don't know why anyone would get bonus points for winning such an easy fight.

PLD here too, did it within 6 months or a year of CoP launch. The worst part was blowing all your Gil on that status effect item (icarus wing? or something) for the event. Still the most satisfying gaming event I've had for that first win.

Agreed. I feel beating it with a pick up group wouldn't make as awesome. Obviously there's the extra element of 'are these people competent or will they try to mine for fish', but beating it (after so many failures) with the same group of people who I had been doing all the missions since chapter 2/4 with made it feel like such an accomplishment. And since it was early, I think most of us only had 1 or 2 jobs high enough, so there was a lot of tweaking to even get it to work for our group.

And yes, CCBs is the correct answer (although also used Icarus Wings). I think CCBs were like 200k when I beat it.. such a pain
