Lv 75 roc lets you buy Gagana (Bennu model Roc) for 15000 infamy. It adds Dread Wind for 250% tp and is a BLM/BRD.

You cannot cast Virelai as a monster.

So I just randomly happened to ask and see if there were any new buyable plantoids, and lo and behold Purbol is 15000. My morbol is 79 and has been for ages, and I don't remember getting that buy option before, which makes me think it may have been added this update. I am currently Infamy-poor, though, so I haven't got it yet. Will post in the other thread once I do.

I'm loving bat so far. Just hit 67. Using Subsonics and Supersonics at the start of the fight helps you mow stuff down. It stacks quite nicely with dia 2 and haste. I am still getting up to chain #8 1500 etc. on stuff. It's may not have any damaging tp moves but the DoT is nice… I'm in Uleg with 25% haste in instincts and spell.

By Crom leveling the slime is painful. Worse the Chigoe. No moves, hits like a feather, and takes damage. Not sure if I have it in me to push it past 30.

There's a report on JP wiki that amphiptere is 75 cockatrice / roc / hippogryph. I was going to try 60/60/60, then 70/70/70, then 75/75/75 before switching to bat anyways, so I'll work to confirm that. My roc is 75 from getting Gagana, and cockatrice and hippogryph are at 60, so it's colibri and imp time for them.

Dumb question, but are you checking if you can buy with infamy / quest with suibhne as well with your bird?

I'm guessing since lesser colibri dont mimic it'll probably be the same but we'll see.
