    CFB 2013: K-State gets Hernandez'd

Meet Glenn Gronkowski, fullback at KSU:

And of course the whole Gronk clan went to Manhattan for the spring game last year, with Rob of course making the kind of appearances you'd expect:

and signing in to frats he visits for parties

    Oh, yeah, football.

So yeah, nobody taking the Big 12 seriously this year, and Pac-12 getting all kinds of credit for their big bowl wins. I'm not sure how you dump Notre Dame almost to 15 at this point given they lost basically nothing (lolteoandgols) and Kelly is fully into his own players now, and of course their schedule is damn near identical to last year.

Not even going to bother doing a "proper" top 25 according to the idiotic "unwritten rules" of ranking, so straight into this:

This is what I think will be the top 25 going into the bowls. Not even going to bother trying to predict bowls in the preseason lol.

    1. Alabama- I figure they beat the hell out of A&M and nobody even challenges them.
    2. Stanford- Expecting an undefeated regular season there
    3. Georgia- Georgia loses 1, to SC; SC drops a fluke to Mizzou or Vandy or some shit then gets rolled by bama in SECC game.
    4. K-State- I'm actually just giving this spot to whoever comes through the big 12, and of course assuming that'll be KSU. Collin Klein was special as a dual threat... Daniel Sams was already better running last year and it won't be hard to become a better passer. As long as he's not fully fucking retarded like Bishop and Beasley and Ell, he's a legit heisman contender.
    5. Notre Dame- Their showdown with Stanford will be 2 undefeated teams playing on Nov 30th, and it'll be a close one; they won't fall far after it.
    6. Oregon- They'll lose to Stanford without Kelly but that's all (they're a better team than last year, but with lesser coaching).
    7. TCU- Beats LSU, but they'll lose one, maybe 2 between Texas, OU, Baylor, OSU, and KSU.
    8. South Carolina - see georgia
    9. Texas - I think there's going to be a big pile of Big 12 teams right around 10 at the end of the year.
    10. Louisville- Loses retarded game no respectable team should lose while playing complete joke of a schedule, gets to be top ten anyway
    11. Oklahoma
    12. Baylor
    13. Oklahoma State - yeah, big ole pile, expect a whole bunch of 2 loss teams from big 12, and a couple damn good 3 loss ones
    14. Florida- 3 losses
    15. Michigan- Ohio State loses 3 or 4, Michigan takes the big 10 unimpressively with a bad loss to ND in the big 10's biggest non-conference game
    16. Clemson- looks decent, but loses to SC, Georgia, FSU
    17. Oregon State - USC takes em out preventing a 2-loss season with just Oregon and Stanford
    18. Nebraska
    19. Wisconsin - Better than Nebraska, but Nebraska's schedule is fucking hilarious
    20. LSU- Good team, but 4 or 5 losses including TCU
    21. Ohio State- Just not as good as they seem on paper. When they ran the table last year they had really close games against teams that had way more to deal with mentally.
    22. USC- Best they've been in a while, shouldn't have trouble ending up ranked. Expecting 3-4 losses on a schedule that doesn't include Oregon, though.
    23. VaTech- Outside Bama they have quite possibly the easiest schedule in the history of "major" conference football.
    24. Michigan State- There's no offense in the Big 10 right now that can run away from them against that defense. All their games will at least be close.
    25. Toledo- plays close with florida, beats another sec team (mizzou), and wins the mac with ease

Honorable mention Texas A&M- I have yet to hear a denial that Johnny got paid. I'm not guaranteeing it or anything, but I don't expect him to be playing. They dodge everything scary from the east, though.

Let the fl, er, games begin.

Sad part is that's becoming a regular thing at this point.

    2012 preseason: 22, into bowls: 5
2011 preseason: unranked, 0 votes, into bowls: 8

The last time we were the unranked team with the highest votes, i.e. 26, in the preseason was 2002... went 11-2 and won the holliday bowl finishing 6.

CBS CFB preview guy to Sumlin: "I've got to ask the hard question here, do you expect Johnny Manziel to be your starting QB to start the season?"

Sumlin: "Well you know last year we didn't even announce a starter until 2 weeks before the season, we've still got some time, blah blah something about other qb's blah blah."

I don't see how a 4 or 5 loss LSU (or any team, actually) would be ranked that high. And no FSU at all? WE ARE NOW MORTAL ENEMIES (in this thread)

I want Jonathan Football playing, and I want C.J. Mosley to rip him limb from limb.

Also I feel like it is very unlikely Alabama avoids injury and complacency enough to three-peat, but since they miss the SEC East's best teams I don't see them losing until the conference championship. Either way should be a hell of a ride.

Last year going into the bowls UCLA and Michigan were 17 and 18 at 9-4 and 8-4.

To be completely honest I thought I had FSU in there, between like 10-15. I'm expecting them to fuck with Florida, but drop some dumb games prior.

Time to start posting your school's pre-season football hype videos. Here is FSU! Not really a fan of the song choice but w/e, it fits.
