He'll literally jump to #1 overnight if you guys beat Bama.
McCarron probably ends up on there eventually with the weapons he has this year as well.
@OSU... hrm.
Firstly, I do have to question how much Miles was involved. When he was at OSU he made them like... an "outside threat" or something. They were capable of knocking off a good OU team, but even the year he won 9 games was a bit of a fluke.
After he left tho... Gundy building them into a legit program has been kind of wtf-worthy all along. Then you consider the fact that the only time they were ever really good before they got busted for all kinds of shit just like this... and oh btw Gundy was a player there at the time.

So tired of articles with headlines like "BLASTED" and "RIPPED". No, he just disagreed with them.Brandon Weeden rips into Sports Illustrated report, writer on Oklahoma State football
By Mary Kay Cabot
BEREA, Ohio -- Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden blasted the Sports Illustrated article today and one of its writers for an article that alleges Oklahoma State players were paid by coaches on an incentive basis from 2001-2011, saying it's comical and that he laughed throughout the whole thing.
The first part of the five-part series "The Dirty Game'' was released today. It's called "The Money.''
Weeden, who played at Okahoma State from 2008-2011, said he never saw any wrongdoing, and trashed the credibility of one of the two writers, Thayer Evans. The other writer is George Dohrman.
"I'm glad you asked,'' Weeden responded when a reporter questioned him about the article.
And then he went off.
"I've read the first story that came out and literally I laughed throughout the entire thing,'' he said. "It's comical for a lot of reasons and I won't go through the whole deal, but obviously it's dealing more with before I got there. First of all, clean slate, I didn't take any money or do anything like that. That wasn't the issue.''
Despite the fact he was there for four seasons the article covers, Weeden said, "It all happened before I got there. But the guys that they did question were not very good sources to question because they are kids that got kicked off the team for drugs or for whatever it might be. They were dismissed and so these are guys that aren't real credible. And the guy who wrote the article (Evans), we had a little run-in at Texas. He's an OU guy. He's always had it out for Oklahoma State, so he comes up to me after we beat Texas and he said, 'when's it going to happen? When's Okie State going to pull it's Okie choke? Like they always do.' I laughed and said, 'Who is this clown?' to our SID guys.''
He furthered skewered Evans.
"And long story short the guy has always had it out for Oklahoma State. He's got a track record. You can go look it up. I'm not going to say his name. You can go look and see what he's done. But he's had it out for us, so it's comical. The truth will come out. I'm surprised. Here's what I'm surprised about is that a credible institution like Sports Illustrated would do 10 months of investigation and they have no credible facts to go along with the story. ''
"Like I said, coach (Mike) Gundy does an unbelievable job of running a clean program, and he takes a lot of pride in that. (OU benefactor T. Boone) Pickens is all about keeping everything clean and playing by the rules and doing the right thing. In my five years there, I saw nothing but that. It was a very clean run organization, no wrongdoings of anything that I ever saw and that goes back to when I was a freshman, 23 years old.
"I'm not naive enough to think that stuff doesn't go on at other universities, but I have to say that I never saw anything go on and it's comical. It really is and I can't wait to read the other four, I really can't. I'm not going to say the guy's name but he knows who he is and he knows his agenda. He's got a wrong one."
That editor should respect his elders
Weeden seems like a p cool guy

It's going down.
I find it kind of funny that out of all the "stars" OSU has produced, Weeden seems like the absolute least likely to have been paid or given any sort of preferential treatment.
Maybe on account that he is 40 and still was average.
BIG TWELVE!
No Georgia? Proceed....
Though from what I can tell from seeing this a bit earlier is that Saban is too smart to get caught if he had his hands in something. I don't see anything bad coming down from above after Manziel only got half a game.

Wisconsin +5.5 @ ASU is an absolute lock, no?
Wow I didn't realize we were getting points. ASU has only played one game, and like both of the Badgers games it was a blowout shutout vs. a terrible opponent. I'd like to think it's a lock but I know nothing about ASU this year. It is #20 @ #26 in the polls, so I guess that makes sense but with neither team having been tested, who knows...
Todd blackledge is a piece of shit.
That is all.
TCU got me stressing so bad.
Is anybody watching this? This is so maddening.
edit: oh, jets are keeping the game close with NE? I can see that being more interesting. Carry on
the premature celebration strikes again. cost TCU the game
what?
You mean this? That's Tech.
Or you mean they eventually scored anyway, running time off the clock. I wouldn't call it costing us the game, our offense was too bad to get that one back. It was more different calls that cost us the game.
Such as this terrible kick catch interference that we recovered and was called back
Here, have a fox. Thanks Lubbock

Oh derp, thought that was Catalon for some reason.
In that game, I wouldn't exactly be surprised if TCU did pull that
Welp, I'm nervous. Sinking feeling in my gut. A&M +9 seems like the obvious play here and it's killing me.![]()
