no1curr update:
K-State playing a team wisconsin played.
At halftime we have 2 qb on pace for ~110 each rushing, and a rb on pace for 140 rushing and 100 receiving, at a rate of ~40 total rushes and 4 total receptions. Oh and 1 more guy with 1 carry for 26 yards and a td.
Bama and LSU both have legit receivers this year.
It's, shockingly, as I've said all along. You put one of these Big 12 offenses in the SEC and the SEC will be forced to respond in order to be capable of keeping up in 50 point games, no matter how good their defenses are.
1 qb we don't really know if he can throw.
The other is one of the better pure passers out there, although he makes mistakes. He holds like every juco record and was 43/60 for 560 yards in 2 games coming into today.
But why bother passing when you can just run all over people, that shit is why we lost the first game.
The other rb had 70 yards on 10 carries with a long of 16 at halftime.
There was a time when we needed a single simple win to clinch the big 12 north so we could play OU in the title game, against Brad Smith's Mizzou team that was becoming pretty scary offensively... Roberson (qb) carried 24 times for 100 yards, Sproles, who wore #43, carried 43 times for 273 yards with a long of 22. Sproles also had 2 catches for 12 yards, making total yardage that day Sproles 285 - Mizzou 264.
It's how we do, when we do what we do.
GRONKDOWN
50 yard passing td at the end of a drive that was 6 rushes and 1 pass up to that point.
More importantly, GRONKDOWN.
He's playing fullback, btw lol.
http://www.cbssports.com/collegefoot...d-on-stretcherMinnesota coach Jerry Kill received medical attention on the sideline during the second quarter of Minnesota's game against Western Illinois on Saturday. Kill was placed on a stretcher before being taken off the field.
The Associated Press reported that Kill suffered a seizure on the sideline, the fourth time he's suffered a seizure on game day in his three seasons at the school. The last one occurred during halftime of Minnesota's regular season finale against Michigan State last season. That seizure took place in the locker room.
The last time Kill suffered a seizure on the sideline was against New Mexico State in 2011.
According to the school Kill was taken from the stadium to a local hospital and is resting comfortably. Assistant Jay Sawvel is serving as acting coach on the field with Kill out while defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys is acting head coach.
Without Kill on the sideline Minnesota went on to beat Western Illinois 29-12.
qq k-state went to backups early, not gonna out-numberz wisconsin rushing
rb 18 for 120
qb 11 for 77 and a td
qb 9 for 74, also threw for 115 and 2 td
rb 5 for 40 and a td, and still going
Isn't Minnesota's record when Kill has a seizure like 4-0 or something?
I know everyone was watching Bama and Texas A&M so here I am with my homer Noles recap:
Winston was 15-18 for 214 yards and 2 TDs, also added a rushing TD. He was out by the middle of the 3rd quarter. Both 2nd string and 3rd string QBs got quality time in the game.
FSU's 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th string RBs all had TDs. Karlos Williams was moved from safety to RB, and on his first run ever in college he broke off for a 65yd TD.
Final score was 62-7 over Nevada.
Miz, I am disappoint.
Team looks good but hard to get too excited with results against cupcakes. Awbarn next week should at least be a slight step up in difficulty.
