Anyone else missing their Onion Helm? It's not in my Inventory/Armor Box, and the Calamity NPC has nothing for me. There's also no mail for me to collect, yet I've seen others with theirs. Any idea how to get it back, as I did have it in Beta 3 and I have my armbands & Hermes sandals.

So... Seems to me, SE server stressed is gonna failed even with early access of B4. Today public B4 starts... I am expecting more congestion issue and server down... Since last night I had All NA servers down for 20 to 30mins...
I'm still wondering these 3/4 days of Beta 4 server stressed testing will help them to improve.

They're probably doing a staggered roll out of their server hardware, doing load balance checks as they bring more up. Pretty standard rollout stuff, but from the sounds of it they're not doing it nearly fast enough.

So my girlfriend is just now trying to make her character and is getting the message that "Your current service account does not allow the creation of a new character." even though I am can make a 2nd character on the server. She just signed in for open beta today and didn't put a code in anywhere, any ideas of what to do to get her in?

I'm saving all my gear to turn into materia; I even hold off on equipping new gear until the old stuff is bonded.

is it true that you can have JP voice and English text? if so how do you configure for it?

Yes in the system config there is an option called Audio Language

By defaut it's to (same as client) just change that to your language of choice
