I have FiOS, but the router is also the modem. Not really sure how it will handle it. And of course both are hardwired

Err, local network if setup correctly will always be faster for file transfers.

I've been thinking they just want to stress test their client. It's the only thing I can think of without going full conspiracy mode.

I can probably steal one from work to just use for this... or I have an older hub I used to use for Halo LAN parties with my friends.

    Incoming packet collisions!

In all seriousness, for a ~6GB transfer at high speed, you'd want a switch to avoid the transfer getting corrupt.

I'm sure I have a switch in the office somewhere from one of our old field offices, but I can't find it. I'll have to do some snooping around later to find it.

Going to see if anybody knows the answer to this.

I got 2 beta keys for friends for P3 but both codes were EU, one was a PS3 the other PC. So I had them both make an EU SE account and for the PS3 friend a EU PS3 account.

For P4 and into release, will they be able to use their NA game codes on their EU SE accounts or are they screwed and will have to make new NA accounts and sign up for P4 with those new NA accounts?
