Correct, after I posted it dropped to 7 mins, its almost done now lol. I love that their servers can handle these speeds. I remember XI was a nightmare, and I would just wait for BG to upload a torrent instead most days.

Yeah I got it. Was DL at 4mb, figured it was going to be a quick DL then halfway through I got the message.

Right now I'm just hoping it doesn't freeze. I remember heading to bed when FFXI was updating, only to wake up to an error. Lots of rage happened.

Yes, assuming you're on NA PS3.

Right now we are experiencing technical difficulties on North American PlayStation®3 version where an error message saying "No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn." when players press the login button on the launcher and they are unable to complete the version update.

We are currently addressing this issue with a cooperation of Sony Computer Entertainment and new updates will follow as additional information becomes available.

Please note that this issue is only occurring on the North American PlayStation®3 version. The Windows version, and Japanese/European PlayStation®3 version, are unaffected.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

I just know that my internet is going to cut out sometime during this ~12 hour download (I live out in the boonies with terribad internet), and I'm going to have to start over since people are reporting that it isn't saving progress... and that's IF I get lucky and don't get any errors...

Looking at that party play video it seems they did adjust the animation timing a bit to improve the sliding around (its still there but seems improved a bit). Hopefully it looks better in this phase. Although I did not see any mention of it in the patch notes detailing changes in feedback.

Having pretty severe problems on the PS3 client... can't even get to a point where I'm downloading.
Either it stays as a black screen, or it just won't accept my login information and keeps refreshing the window asking me for my username and password. -_-
