Hey guys, Where do you find Guatumbu Logs?

I Logged in Yorcia for Hours with zero results.

Where do you find Snowsteel ore?

I mined Marjami Ravine for hours with no results ><
A little bit in Dho Gates as well.

I've heard you can get snowsteel(ore?) from reives, I never got one from there personally. I did get one mining in Dho Gates sunday using the pioneer's field gear and pickaxe+1. I doubt that a pick+1 is required to get it but was the only time so far I've mined snowsteel. The durability of the HELM+1 tools, at least in tandem with the pioneer field gear and key items, is pretty good. They last a good several uses and don't break immediately.

Snowsteel Ore is confirmed from Dho Gates. I was mining there this weekend for Geo AF ore and got a couple Snowsteel Ore from there.

Ffxiah comment says helm yorcia weld. There's a pretty solid supply on Odin too so you may have just gotten really unlucky.

the hell on earth zone. I got like 50 of them on the AH when they sold for 200~300k each. willing to say now that they are not as good gil anymore. they drop from colonization and logging points in Yorcia Weald. happen to get lucky and got it the day of the update from a colonization and then said "wtf let me see if I can log them too"

edit: When I went I would say I could average one every 20~30 swings.

What is the new lumber used for? I see that people are buying it but I couldn't find a recipe that used it.

I've gotten one of the logs from Wildskeeper reive in Yorcia.

Now that we have every recipe added, you can click "What Links Here" in the toolbox on the bottom left of any material page you can see what synths they are used in. This is hopefully temporary until I get around to adding the data to every page. It is still pretty useful for the time being.

Straight up logging the grove for items, right? What level grove, any fertilizer?

Yeah logging and lvl 5 though might be able to at 4. Don't need fertilizer but can use some to focus it on tree stuff of other harvest stuff

Actually got 3 on this character today... though so far only 4 total between my 3 characters so either darksday is the way to go or I just got really lucky

Are there rank ups beyond just buying the KIs? If so, how?

I've only gotten Guatambu logs with Grove cuttings so far. Probably just ups the rate but I haven't seen it without it yet. Can get grove cuttings randomly from logging at grove #3 with rank 5, Possibly with other combos as well but I haven't gotten more than 2 yet and they were both at grove #3.
