if that had actually happened it would have been the greatest moment in TV history
the entire point of Jesse's character is that he was too soft, too sensitive, for the drug game. he tried to adopt it because he thought the persona was cool and he wanted the money and because he had nothing else in his life but unlike psychopath Walt or Gus or even Mike he can't kill people and be ok with it, he can't watch innocents die and chalk it up to business as usual. he's been about as thoroughly broken as a person can be by these experiences and everyone is just LOL BUT HE HAS MONEY HOW CAN SOMEONE WITH MONEY BE SAD
prolly because he's a clinically depressed drug addict that has no one that cares about him and no one he cares for, his life holds no value to him
